Whenever anyone thinks of the horrors that were inflicted on American citizens in 2020, one name comes to mind: Anthony Fauci. The former Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases was the media’s poster child for lockdowns, mask mandates, and an unconstitutional vaccine push.

Fauci once claimed that anyone questioning his radical, authoritarian rules was questioning “science.” But as COVID became a memory, a string of scandals came out that exposed Fauci’s dubious claims and reputation.

He quickly retired and tried to recede into obscurity—after damaging the lives of 300 million Americans. But this week, he was forced to give an account before Congress. Fauci tried to duck most of the responsibility for the government’s harmful measures on Americans, which many now claim were not based on science and failed to do any good.

He kept claiming that his measures “saved lives” and even rules that violated the constitutional rights of Americans were justified because “thousands” of Americans were dying each day.

The disgraced government bureaucrat even claimed he defended the now-hated COVID vaccines because they “save lives.” He said, “It is very, very clear that vaccines have saved hundreds of thousands of Americans and millions worldwide.”

But soon after he defended vaccines that are no longer being used, this little nugget of shame came out.

New data from the National Institutes of Health reveal the agency and its scientists collected $710 million in royalties during the pandemic, from late 2021 through 2023. These are payments made by private companies, like pharmaceuticals, to license medical innovations from government scientists.

Almost all that cash — $690 million — went to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the subagency led by Dr. Anthony Fauci, and 260 of its scientists.

So… did Fauci push COVID vaccines because they “saved lives” or because he was getting hundreds of millions of dollars from the companies pumping them out? The government made it seem like you would either get one of the untested vaccines or die. That was thanks to Fauci, who aggressively supported Biden’s unconstitutional vaccine mandates (that threatened to take away 100 million Americans’ jobs).

Now, we are seeing Fauci was getting a massive windfall of cash from the very companies pushing vaccines and other drugs during COVID. His entire credibility is torched. And his latest defense has been tainted by the fact that, while millions of Americans lost their livelihoods thanks to government lockdowns, Fauci was getting filthy stinking rich.
