We all know about the “squad.” This is a group of far-left Democrats who serve in the House of Representatives. They are known for pushing some of the most extreme socialist views in government.

But they’ve also sided with anti-Israel groups and movements. Long before the current war, the squad tried to get the U.S. to boycott its longstanding ally.

Perhaps the most vitriolic of this group is Rep. Rashida Tlaib. The Palestinian-American once called out Biden for supporting Israel, making what appeared to be threats against him. Recently, she spoke at a group that is being funded by a known terror network. Now, lawmakers are demanding action.

Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) after she gave a speech at the People’s Conference for Palestine, an event that received funding and support from a US-designated terrorist organization. Japan, Canada, and the European Union have also recognized the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine to be a terror group.

Following her remarks and the revelation that the conference was supported by a terrorist organization, Rep Mike Lawler (R-NY) called for Tlaib to be “removed from Congress immediately,” saying that “Associating with and speaking before groups that are funded by US-designated terrorist organizations is disqualifying.”

Tlaib spoke at an event called the “People’s Conference for Palestine.” Which “people” are these, you might ask? Not Americans, that seems to be true. This event was funded by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. This is a “communist-terrorist” group that operates out of Syria.

The United States, Japan, Canada, and the EU all designated this group as terrorists. Yet this event was able to receive funds from them, and Rep Tlaib gladly spoke at the event.

Rep. Mike Lawler of New York called for Congress to remove Tlaib from office over her involvement in this event. We had previously learned that Tlaib has sent hundreds of thousands of campaign funds to another group with ties to terrorists.

Lawler claimed that “speaking before groups that are funded” by terrorists “is disqualifying.” But it is unknown if Congress will actually do this. Both Republicans and Democrats eagerly removed George Santos over accusations—he hadn’t been convicted of a crime.

Yet it is unlikely Democrats will join Republicans to remove Tlaib, despite her long history of antisemitism and unprofessional, undemocratic behavior. Tlaib is known for throwing tantrums and wild, unacceptable rants. That’s besides the many times she’s spread false claims against Israel, the one Jewish nation in the world.
