Anti-Trump Prosecutor Faces Shock New Scandal – This Could Derail the Whole Trial and Her Career

The case against Trump coming out of Georgia has been hit with controversy. Recently, the prosecutor leading the charge has been criticized for some questionable activity.

The biggest issue has been her hiring a man she was linked to romantically.

But the scandal seems to be growing with each day. Now, she is in the hot seat for how she treated her “love.” And this could derail her entire campaign against the former president.

From The Post Millennial:
A new report has revealed that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis paid her alleged romantic partner Nathan Wade nearly double the hourly rate of one of the state’s leading RICO experts on the case against Trump. Both are special prosecutors in the case.

Fani Willis has been criticized for hiring her romantic partner as a prosecutor in her case against Trump. Plenty of Republicans have claimed a conflict of interest, especially after it came out that this man had met with Biden’s White House.

Now, reports are claiming Willis paid her partner almost twice the hourly rate of another prosecutor working on the case. This other prosecutor happened to be one of the state’s leading RICO experts.

Critics will likely accuse Willis of giving her partner more money, because of their relationship. Willis has been defiant as allegations multiplied, suggesting these controversies are because of her gender or race.

But it is unlikely she will be able to get out of this unscathed. The evidence seems to paint her in an unfavorable light—and that could lead to ethics complaints or even an investigation against her.

Trump’s lawyers will certainly use these scandals as grounds for a mistrial. If they can make a good case against Willis before the court, the entire lawsuit against Trump and his former allies could be thrown out.

Regardless, these scandals will be used by Trump supporters to reinforce claims that the case was politically motivated from the start.

Key Takeaways:

  • An anti-Trump prosecutor out of Georgia was accused of paying her lover more than others working on the case.
  • According to reports, she paid her partner $100 more per hour than the state’s RICO expert.
  • This comes as her case against Trump is challenged by several scandals.
