In the months following the first “#MeToo” scandal, numerous women were coming out of the woodwork to accuse men. Powerful figures in politics, media, and other industries were accused of assaulting and mistreating women. Many of them lost everything, based on the smallest claims.
Despite the passing years, women continue to come out and accuse famous men of mistreatment. Unless a Democrat is being accused, it appears the liberal media is all too eager to believe women’s claims, with or without evidence.
A woman had accused an MLB player of sexual assault. She filed a lawsuit and even a restraining order. The case was thrown out, as the player maintained his innocence. Now, he is seeking to clear his name by revealing what this woman texted her friends… before she even met him.
From Daily Wire:
After reaching a settlement in his legal dispute, former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer on Monday revealed the text messages his accuser sent to her friends…
“’Next victim. Star pitcher for the Dodgers,’” Bauer begins in the video with a picture of Hill’s text. “A text Lindsey Hill sent to a friend before she ever even met me. ‘What should I steal?’ she asked another, in reference to visiting my house for the first time. The answer? ‘Take his money.’ So how might that work? ‘I’m going to his house Wednesday.’ she said, ‘I already have my hooks in. You know how I roll.’ Then, after the first time we met, “Net worth is 51 mil” she said. ‘b—h, you better secure the bag’, was the response.”

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer was placed on administrative leave immediately after Lindsey Hill accused him of assault and sexual mistreatment. No investigation had been conducted, but the player’s reputation and career were potentially ruined.
He never faced charges due to the incident and a restraining order made by Hill was rejected. A settlement was announced and it appeared Bauer was exonerated. He took to X to reveal text messages Hill sent to her friends before their interaction.
From the texts, it appears Hill was marking Bauer as her next “victim.” It seems she was going after wealthy young men, to rob them after a night’s encounter. She asked her friend “What should I steal?”
Bauer read these texts to his followers in an attempt to clear his name. These texts were probably used by his lawyers to clear his name during the controversy. It appears this woman, and her friends perhaps were taking advantage of the #MeToo movement still entertained by the media to destroy this man’s life.
While Bauer’s name is cleared, this episode could further damage actual victims of assault. Women who accuse men of crimes might not be heard, because of women like Hill.
- MLB pitcher Trevor Bauer read texts from the woman who accused him of assault
- The texts suggest she had targeted him, because of his wealth, to rob him.
- Hill claimed Bauer attacked and sexually assaulted her.
