Out of the many people who served Trump during his time in office, none were as loyal as Ben Carson.
In fact, in the days since Trump left office, some of his former allies have gone out of their way to criticize him.
But not Carson. He did tremendous work for the president at HUD. Now, outside of office, he continues to go to bat for Trump.
As he did in a recent appearance.
From Washington Examiner:
Ben Carson, former President Donald Trump’s only secretary for the Department of Housing and Urban Development, is convinced that Trump can stage a winning comeback, and he’s making plans to help him…
“One of the things that I’m going to be concentrating on,” he told Secrets, “is election integrity. If we don’t get election integrity restored, then we’re going to have a monopoly [by Democrats], and it’s going to go on forever and just get worse.”
Since leaving office, Carson has been outspoken in his support for Donald Trump. He has stood behind the work he and Trump did in HUD and the many Americans they helped.
Now it appears Carson is going the extra mile to ensure that not only Trump can win again, but that our elections will be protected for the future.
He has formed his own conservative advocacy group that will focus on election integrity. Carson stated that one of his top goals is to ensure that Democrats won’t be able to create a “monopoly,” thanks to mail-in ballots and other tactics.
It’s no secret that many key states conveniently pushed changes in election rules right before the big day. That, many believed, created a situation that Democrats exploited.
It appears one of Carson’s top goals is to ensure that election laws aren’t changed by non-elected officials. And that states protect the integrity of their election systems.
Carson seems confident Trump can return to politics again. He said “of course,” Trump can win again.
There are about 75 million Americans who would agree.
Many Americans were shocked to see Republicans and former Trump staffers turn on the president after November 3. It seems they were too eager to save their own skins and pander to the D.C. swamp.
But Carson is not one of them. He believes in the future of this country–and is willing to fight for it.
- Ben Carson has formed an advocacy group aimed at protecting conservative values.
- He believes Trump can win re-election and is working toward that goal.
- One major agenda of his group will be to safeguard election integrity.
