Bernie Says No More Private Healthcare – Then Claims He Doesn’t Need To Tell You Any Details Right Now

Bernie Sanders is a self-described “Democratic Socialist.” That means he wants to take your hard-earned money and give it to somebody else. Namely, the federal government.

His biggest promise is to create a government-run healthcare program called “Medicare for All.” This would eliminate all private health insurance companies and force everyone to use it.

You can just imagine the kind of problems this would create.

The biggest problem, of course, is that the government won’t really pay for this program. You will, through massive taxes.

But Sanders doesn’t want you to know about that. And when pressed for how he will pay for his version of Medicare for All, Sanders said this.

From The Hill:

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said he doesn’t think he needs to release more details about how to pay for his “Medicare for all” health care proposal…

“You’re asking me to come up with an exact detailed plan of how every American — how much you’re going to pay more in taxes, how much I’m going to pay. I don’t think I have to do that right now,” Sanders said.

Wow. Bernie Sanders wants to radically change our medical industry, force all Americans to go on government insurance, but he refuses to explain how he’ll pay for it?

In fact, he said “I don’t think I have to” explain that.

Um, yes you do Bernie. You’re running for president. You want Americans to elect you to the highest office of the land, on the promise you’ll provide Medicare for All.

It’s absolutely necessary that you explain how you’ll pay for it, right now. This is the time Americans are trying to decide if they should support you.

They should know what you plan to do with their health coverage. Are you going to raise taxes? Take money from the military? Hit corporations with massive new regulatory fines?

This is important because it affects every last American. And you refuse to even talk about it? That won’t fly, buddy.

And considering how much it will cost, based on third party estimates, we should be concerned.

From The Hill:

A conservative group estimated Medicare for all would cost about $33 trillion over a decade, but Sanders has said that amount is inflated.

One group said Sander’s plan would cost $33 trillion over a decade. You can imagine how much it will cost over twenty, thirty, or fifty years.

Where is that money going to come from? We all know how utterly expensive healthcare can be. When there is only one payer, those costs go up (thanks to a lack of competition).

Sanders refuses to tell us how he’ll address these prices. Okay, Bernie, then we won’t tell you that we’re going to support Trump instead.

SHARE to get the word out – Bernie has no idea how he’ll pay for Medicare for All!
