Many Americans believe the government has gone way too far over the last year in limiting our God-given freedoms.
Even now, as many states have opened up, Biden seems to want to keep the restrictions up.
Contradicting what he had previously promised, Joe has even tried to cancel Fourth of July events. He even shut down a fireworks display at Mount Rushmore.
But Republican star and governor of South Dakota, Kristi Noem, is fighting back.
From Fox News:
South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem sued the Biden administration on Friday after it canceled the Independence Day fireworks celebration at Mount Rushmore, demanding the court “expeditiously” issue a permit for the event to take place…
Noem said the Biden administration has “departed from longstanding precedent and reneged on this agreement without any meaningful explanation.”
As usual, the Biden administration is backing out of its word, stripping our country of its hope and identity.
Biden, according to reports, has “reneged” on an agreement with the state of South Dakota to host a longstanding fireworks show on July 4th.
They, based on what Gov. Noem said, have refused to give a “meaningful” reason for this sudden change.
It could be because Biden is still so afraid. But I’m guessing he’s trying to save money, after promising trillions in wasteful government programs.
Gov. Noem took a play out of the left’s book to sue the administration over this sudden move. Hey, if Democrats sued Trump at the drop of the hat, why can’t Republicans sue when Biden is clearly in the wrong?
Because Mount Rushmore is part of the National Park’s system, the federal government holds jurisdiction. If this was a state park, there’d be no problem.
Cleary, the Biden administration is trying to flex its muscle, depriving a conservative state of some much-needed revenue from those who would have traveled to see the show.
Isn’t this the guy that promised to be president of both “blue and red” states? More and more it’s becoming painfully clear that he is not interested in doing that one bit.
Do you think Mount Rushmore should have fireworks for Independence Day?
- The Biden administration reneged on its agreement and canceled a fireworks show on Mount Rushmore.
- The state of South Dakota is suing to quickly reinstate the agreement.
- Biden had previously promised a “return to normal” on July 4th but is now backtracking.
