Joe Biden Shows His Hand On Court Packing – He Just Accused Trump Of Unconstitutionally Packing The Court

What’s Happening:

Biden has dodged the question of court-packing for weeks.

Many Democrats have threatened to add new members to the Supreme Court.

But Joe has refused to discuss the issue—even saying we’d learn his position after he was elected.

Um… that’s not how it works, Joe.

Now, he is making an even weirder claim, one that—once again—dodges the issue. From the Daily Wire:

Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden made false claims on Saturday while speaking to reporters before he boarded his campaign plane, saying that Republicans are the ones engaged in court-packing and claiming that what the Republicans are doing is not constitutional…

What Biden said is false. Republicans control the Senate and the White House and they are well within their constitutional right to move to fill the seats.

It seems the left is now pushing a new narrative that “court-packing” is simply filling vacancies to federal courts.

President Trump and the GOP in the Senate have been fulfilling their Constitutional duty to appoint new judges, whenever vacancies are filled.

Unable to stop the appointment of Amy Coney Barrett, the left is now saying (with help from the media) that is court-packing.

The big problem with, of course, is that it’s not true. Court-packing is the practice of adding new seats to a court in order to create a partisan majority.

That is the very thing Democrats have been talking about doing since Trump announced he would fill RBG’s seat.

But because Biden can’t give a straight answer, it appears the left is trying to run interference for him. They are now trying to redefine the term “court-packing,” hoping to mislead Americans.

The truth appears that Biden is trying to distract from the fact that he is in favor of actual court-packing, where Democrats cram as many justices onto the Supreme Court until they have a majority.

It is the grown-up version of changing the rules of the game until you win, no matter what.

Mike Pence pointed out that Biden and Harris’ refusal to answer the question proves they are in support of court-packing—since they would say no openly.

We have watched Democrats in the media twist around anything and everything during this election. They called deadly lockdowns a good idea. They called riots “peaceful protests.” And now they call filling court vacancies “court-packing.”

Do they have any idea what is true and what isn’t?

Key Takeaways:

  • Joe Biden accused Trump and Republicans of “court-packing” by filling vacancies.
  • Trump and the GOP are fulfilling Constitutional requirements by appointing new judges.
  • Biden refuses to make his stance on actual court-packing clear, proving he’s in favor of it.
