It is unclear what on earth the man was talking about. House Republicans have pointed out, numerous times, that Biden does not need Congress to pass a bill to secure the border. Biden can sign an executive order and fix the problem in one day, according to Speaker Johnson.
What did Biden mean when he said he wanted the action “happening by itself”? Improvements don’t happen by accident. It will require the actions of the president to address the serious crisis on the border.
