Calls have been renewed to test Joe Biden’s cognitive health. Even liberals are starting to fear Biden is not fit for leadership.

Well, as it happens, the president is up for his yearly physical. This is a prime moment for the White House to quell any concerns that Biden is suffering from mental decline. But, in what will come as a shock to many, the physical will leave out this.

During Monday’s White House press conference, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that Biden will not be taking a cognitive test as part of his upcoming physical exam, coming as questions are raised on Biden’s mental fitness.

Jean-Pierre said that Dr. Kevin O’Conner, Biden’s physician, does not believe a cognitive test is necessary, adding that O’Conner believes Biden has proven his cognitive ability “every day in how he operates and how he thinks.”

Just days after Biden stumbled during a live press conference, the White House announced he would not be given a cognitive exam during his physical. This comes as more people are questioning his mental fitness.

The excuse given by White House press secretary Jean-Pierre is that Biden’s doctor, Kevin O’Conner, does not believe a cognitive exam is necessary. Why? Because the White House is claiming Biden has “proven” his cognitive ability “every day in how he operates and how he thinks.”

Many critics will no doubt jump all over this statement. It is Biden’s very everyday operations that have led people to believe he is mentally unfit for office. You don’t have to search long for examples of Biden acting in ways that weaken confidence in his abilities.

Others will say that, if Biden was fine, a cognitive exam would easily disprove his critics. If the White House really believes Biden has no mental issues, then it would jump at the chance to prove it with an exam. Instead, they keep ignoring calls by concerned Americans, demanding voters to believe their claims—without evidence.
