Joe Biden was nominated by his party because he was the safe “moderate.” That means he was supposed to bridge both parties by embracing things like capitalism and business.
Instead, he pushed radical, left-wing views all throughout his campaign. He openly attacked the oil industry, saying he would shut them down.
He backpedaled out of fear, saying he’d only take away tax subsidies for oil—and limit fracking on public lands.
So, what does he do on day one? From Fox Business:
Joe Biden’s administration will crack down on fossil fuels on his first day in office, according to his transition team…
The new administration’s crackdown on fossil fuels will include stopping the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline, reimposing a moratorium of coal leasing on federal lands, tightening fracking regulations on public lands; directing federal agencies to revise energy standards; and reinstating the Interagency Working Group on the Social Cost of Greenhouse Gases.
President Trump battled to support the Keystone XL pipeline, a project intensely opposed by liberal activists (bankrolled by George Soros).
Trump was largely successful, but it looks like this pipeline’s fate is doomed, as Biden plans to shut it down.
He also aims to embrace radical policies from the Paris Climate Accord which will, if backed by legislation, will cost Americans billions and jobs.
Biden also plans more aggressive action against coal and fracking. He also seeks to marry environmentalism with social justice—something the leftists just love.
How can Biden look at blue collar workers in the face and say he is on their side? His moves might put many out of work. Where are they going to go now?
A leader that supports working-class Americans doesn’t push policies that destroys their industries. He doesn’t say one thing, but do another.
The only saving grace is if states take these actions to court, so they cannot go into effect. But that would require state conservatives to man up and fight.
Do you think Biden’s action to limit oil and coal will help or hurt America?
- Joe Biden promised to aid blue-collar workers and not destroy their industries.
- But on day one, he will push environmental policies that will hurt the fossil fuel industries.
- He will target the Keystone XL pipeline, fracking, and coal.
