Democrats are pulling out all the stops to help Joe Biden win reelection. They are even using the legal system to derail Trump’s campaign and protect Biden’s. But it doesn’t seem to be helping, as signs indicate that Americans believe the trials are politically motivated.
The White House continues to claim America is much better off since 2020. President Biden and his staff downplay problems like the open border, war overseas, and raging inflation.
But even liberal outlets can’t fully shield Biden from the realities of his failures. The New York Times polls their readers about Biden’s presidency, versus Donald Trump’s. And this is what the far-left paper had to say.
From Breitbart:
Voters’ view of former President Donald Trump’s presidency improved nine points after President Joe Biden assumed office, a New York Times/Siena poll found Saturday…Key polling metrics show Trump became far more positive since 2020:
- 42 percent said Trump’s tenure was “mostly good for America,” compared to only 25 percent for Biden.
- More voters (up 11 points) regard Trump as a “safe choice” than previously viewed in 2016.
- More voters (up 10 points) approve of his handling of the economy.
- More voters (up 9 points) think Trump left the country better off.
- More voters (up 8 points) approve of Trump’s handling of maintaining law and order.
Forty-three percent of respondents voted for Biden in 2020, while only 36 percent voted for Trump.
In a staggering new report from the New York Times, voters prefer Trump’s presidency over Biden’s. In fact, their views of Trump’s presidency improved by nine points after Biden took over.
The results of the survey are eye-opening. Of the 43% of respondents who voted for Biden and 36% who voted for Trump, 42% said Trump’s term was “mostly good” while only 25% said that same for Biden.
Those are devastatingly bad numbers and suggest that even some liberal voters might defect and vote for Trump. The poll also found that more voters believe Trump is the “safe choice” than in 2016. They also approve of his economy and his handling of law and order.
This should not be a surprise to anyone who has been paying attention for the last four years. Joe Biden inherited a recovering country but managed to push policies that only hurt that recovery. He sided with the progressive left on nearly every issue, every time.
We are looking at war in Europe and the Middle East, skyrocketing inflation, and an invasion at our border.
It is a wonder if anyone will vote for Biden, come November.
Key Takeaways:
- A New York Times poll found that voters’ approval of Trump’s presidency improved after Biden took over.
- Forty-two percent of voters called Trump’s term “mostly good” compared to only 25% for Biden.
- Of respondents, 43% of them had voted for Biden in 2020.
