Biden Hit with Unexpected Crisis – Massive Democrat Defection Could Cost Him Big in 2024

What’s Happening:

Recent reports have shown that the White House-induced inflation has not gone away. Inflation has been consistently higher during the Biden administration than in previous years. The steady increase in the cost of everything has hit working Americans harder than anyone else. Some experts explained that the continued inflation has amounted to a pay decrease for most Americans.

August 2023 saw a new jump in inflation, as Biden’s other blunder–cutting of U.S. oil and gas–contributed to growing costs. American workers are not seeing their pay increase with inflation. Now, a major group of workers is growing very unrestful, thanks to inflation. And this large Democrat voter base might break from the party.

From Breitbart:

The 150,000-member [United Auto Workers union] could go on strike as early as Thursday if they cannot reach an agreement with Detroit’s Big Three automakers over their contracts, which expire this week…

“Look, this is actually the fault of Joe Biden because one of the things driving this strike is the fact that people’s wages have deteriorated so much,” Carney said. “Of course, the unions want to be paid more because they’ve seen their buying power go down. Their cost of living has skyrocketed. So, of course they need to make more money.”

The United Auto Workers union could go on strike as early as this week if they cannot agree on a new contract with car makers. This would be a huge blow to the economy, which is already struggling thanks to “Bidenomics.”

Factors contributing to the growing hostility of the union include rising inflation. The auto workers are demanding more pay to keep up with rapid inflation. Pundits have also explained that Biden’s mad dash to put millions of electric vehicles on the road is hurting auto workers.

EVs reportedly require “a lot less labor” than traditional gas-powered cars. Which could lead to massive layoffs, should car makers produce more of them. Auto workers have reason to blame Joe Biden for their financial hardships. But they also can blame Biden for a possible scenario where the car companies do not agree to a good contract because they shift to making more EVs.

How this will impact Biden’s image with the union remains to be seen. Biden relied on a variety of unions to prop up his 2020 campaign. Like previous Democrats, Biden claimed to be an ally of America’s working class. Yet many of his policy decisions have seen jobs bleed overseas, illegal immigrants take jobs from union workers, and inflation impact workers’ pay.

We could see unions break from the Democratic Party as a result.

UPDATE: The UAW has gone on strike, and for the first time with all 3 major car companies. This strike is likely to do significant political damage to the president.

Key Takeaways:

  • The United Auto Workers union has gone on strike as their contract expired.
  • Workers are demanding higher pay as a result of Biden’s inflation.
  • Their jobs are partly at risk as companies shift to making EVs, which many argue is due to Biden’s green agenda.
