White House Just Made a Shock Admission – You Won’t Believe Where Our Troops Are Now

As war broke out in the Middle East last year, many Americans feared Biden would drag us into a new world war. He has spent billions funding Ukraine’s war against Russia. And despite calls from both sides to use caution in the Middle East, Biden seems to be pressing his foot on the gas.

He has moved warships into the region, provoking constant attacks from groups backed by Iran. Most recently, a drone attack took the lives of three American service members in Northern Jordan.

Yet, so far, there has been little word of U.S. forces moving on the ground. The Pentagon even recently said there were no troops in Yemen, a hotbed of terrorist activity. Literally days later, it has been revealed that the White House told Congress something very different.

From The Post Millennial:
A small number of United States military personnel are deployed to Yemen to conduct operations against al-Qa’ida in the Arabian Peninsula and ISIS,” the White House told Congress in a December 7 report…

In a press briefing on Jan. 17, Pentagon press secretary Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder was asked if he could say with confidence that troops were not on the ground in Yemen. He responded, saying, “I’m not aware of any US forces on the ground.”

While speaking before the press, Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder claimed on January 17 that he was “not aware” of any U.S. forces on the ground in Yemen. However, just a month before, the White House told Congress that there were troops in Yemen.

According to that report, a “small number” of American military were deployed in Yemen to move against al-Qaida and ISIS in the region. The Pentagon did not have a clear answer for why Ryder said the exact opposite. A spokesperson claimed, “Maj Gen Ryder’s prior assertion that there are no US forces on the ground in Yemen remains accurate.”

So… are there troops in Yemen or not? This confusion between the White House and a federal agency has become commonplace within the Biden administration. Many critics have wondered who is actually calling the shots inside this presidency. Agencies act on their own, with seemingly no input from the president. The president often appears ignorant of what is going on within his own administration.

Such was the case when the Secretary of Defense was admitted to the hospital earlier in January. He did not report his absence to Congress, higher-ups within the Pentagon, or even Joe Biden.

But this issue might worry many more Americans, as the existence of troops in Yemen could spark retaliation from hostile neighbors in the region.

Key Takeaways:

  • The White House reported that troops have been deployed to Yemen.
  • This comes as the Pentagon claimed there were no troops inside Yemen.
  • Tensions are rising in the Middle East, with fears that a large war could break out.
