Do you think it was enough?
You may have heard of a recent encounter between Eric Trump and a Chicago waitress.
The son of the president just wanted a relaxing drink to end a busy day, like many Americans.
But because his father is the leader of the free world, this liberal waitress had other ideas…
Instead of serving Trump Jr. a drink and showing him the same respect as every other customer, this waitress spat on him.
Yes, she actually SPIT on the President’s son.
Eric Trump believed the event was politically motivated (and he’s almost certainly correct), and it had no place in a professional environment.
Now, the company that owns the bar is weighing in.
From Fox News:
“The restaurant group that owns Chicago’s Aviary cocktail bar has responded to reports that an employee spat on Eric Trump on Tuesday night…
‘We have not yet spoken with the employee but our HR team has, in the meantime, placed her on leave,’ the Alinea Group confirmed.”
That isn’t enough. She should be fired, shouldn’t she?
But we’ll be happy with getting rid of her temporarily … for now.
And since the incident, numerous patriots have weighed in online: they’ve demanded action from this bar, which would allow one of their employees to spit on a guest.
She decided she had the right to insult a customer, just because she didn’t agree with his—and his fathers’—politics.
This is nothing new, though. We’ve seen all kinds of acts of aggression—even violence—against conservatives since Trump was elected.
Democrats claim they take the high road. But all too often, they behave like nasty, rotten children.
If this employee had spat on just a regular customer—that wouldn’t have been allowed, right?
You would fire her immediately if she spat on, say, an ex-boyfriend or a difficult customer? Why just “place her on leave?”
That kind of behavior is totally unacceptable. How many people will want to go to that bar, if they know that’s how its employees treat guests?
COMMENT to tell this waitress how you think she should pay!
