In the weeks since Donald Trump chose Senator JD Vance (R-OH) as his running mate, Democrats and the mainstream media have been working overtime to portray him as being “weird.” Unfortunately for them, however, Vance frequently comes across as normal as can be whenever he is interviewed.

Vance showed this once again this week when he flipped the script on a CNN reporter who tried to hit him with a gotcha question about Donald Trump. The reporter sickeningly tried to use Vance’s Indian wife and their three biracial young children against him.

Vance, however, was not having any of it. His level-headed response shows exactly why he’s the perfect running mate for Trump.

From The Blaze:
“The former president’s comments yesterday to the National Association of Black Journalists where he said that Vice President Harris is quote ‘all of a sudden black’ — as a father of three biracial children, did those comments give you pause at all?” the reporter asked.

“They don’t give me pause at all,” Vance responded.

“All he said is that Kamala Harris is a chameleon. She goes to Georgia two days ago, she was raised in Canada, she puts on a fake southern accent. She is everything to everybody, and she pretends to be somebody different depending on which audience she’s in front of,” he explained calmly, as the reporter stayed quiet.

Vance went on to explain that it was “totally reasonable for the president to call that out.”

“She’s running as a tough-on-crime prosecutor even though she implemented open-border policies, she’s saying that she wants to support the police yet she wanted to defund the police just three years ago,” he said, adding, “It’s totally reasonable to call out the fact that she pretends to be somebody different depending on the audience she’s talking to.”

Vance Hit The Nail On The Head

Vance’s defense of Trump is spot on. The Left has become so obsessed with race that they immediately think of racism as soon as race is brought up in any context.

In reality, Trump clearly did indeed mean that Harris is a chameleon. She is a shameless liar who will do and say anything to get elected. Race isn’t the only thing that Harris seemingly changes depending on the audience that she is speaking to. She also frequently pretends to be a moderate these days despite her being an extreme radical liberal throughout the entirety of her political career.

You can also expect this to only be the beginning of the Left trying to use the races of Vance’s wife and children against him. The Left likes to nonsensically portray all conservators as white supremacists. That’s why they can’t stand the fact that Vance is married to a beautiful woman of color, as it shoots a giant hole in their race-baiting narrative.

This all just goes to show that despite what they say, Democrats are the true racists. They’ve become so obsessed with race that they’ve become the very thing that they are supposedly so eager to fight against.

We applaud Vance for keeping his cool and turning the tables on this smug liberal reporter. In the end, we can certainly see why Trump picked Vance as his running mate!
