Republicans are continuing to fight for a fair outcome in the presidential election. But that’s not the only fight being waged.
Trump still has a path to victory, argues Republicans like Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham, as long as the courts uphold the law and stop corruption.
Republicans made gains in the House and held onto most of their seats in the Senate. But control of the Senate comes down to two runoff races that will take place in January.
Now, Sen. Ted Cruz is warning that if these two runoff races go south, America will be on the edge of the abyss. From Reuters:
“I cannot overstate how important to the country both those seats are,” Republican Senator Ted Cruz said on Fox News…
“If you don’t want to go over the edge to the socialist abyss, Georgia is the big enchilada,” he added.
Cruz is warning that Democrat will ram their agenda down Americans’ throats if they win a slim majority in the Senate.
Two seats in Georgia are up for grabs and, like the presidential results of the state, they were too close to call this November.
While the presidential vote is headed for a recount, the Senate races will be determined in a runoff election this January because the winner must receive at least 50% of the vote.
This is crucial, as it will decide the balance of power in the Senate. And Democrat already admitted they are pulling out all the stops:
Georgia Democratic activist Stacey Abrams said on Sunday that her party would pour unprecedented resources into two runoff Senate races in the traditionally Republican-leaning state that will determine control of the top U.S. legislative chamber.
One Democrat even suggested getting Biden to commit (another) quid pro quo to take one of the seats. From Western Journal:
“Just brainstorming here; what if Biden went to Richard Burr, told him that there would be no further action on the insider trading charges, and offers him CIA?” Ornstein said in a Friday tweet, according to Fox News.
It seems like Democrats are willing to do anything to gain power. Democracy just might be getting in the way of their agenda.
But it won’t matter if voters show up and the courts uphold our election integrity. All that will be determined in the coming weeks and months.
Do you think Republicans will hold the Senate?

- Democrats are pumping huge sums to win those races.
- Others claim a President Biden could get one senator to drop out.
