For a while, people thought the red wave Republicans were enjoying last year was fading. Democrats were able to shift the midterm narrative from Biden’s failures to issues like abortion. But, despite their best efforts, Americans are still hurting from Biden’s broken economy, open border, rising taxes, and unchecked crime.
As we’ve closed in on the elections, the polls shifted. Races that should have been safe for Democrats are no more. Liberals had to rush to appear at debates, in the hopes of saving their chances. That went over as well as you’d expect. And now, the left is panicking as more races are flipping.

On Tuesday, Fox News’ Power Rankings made changes to five key races, all centered in the Northeastern U.S., a region that’s been trending more Democratic in recent years.
Even previously “safe” races are now toss-ups or more favorable for Republicans, just days before the big midterms. In New York, the impossible seems to be happening, as the Republican candidate for governor Lee Zeldin gains on Kathy Hochul.
The same appears to be happening in congressional races. Other seats that were considered a shoo-in for Democrats are now, far less certain. Many polling outlets are predicting big wins for Republicans in local, state, and federal races. There is momentum for Republicans to retake the Senate.
All of this shouldn’t be a surprise to most people. Democrats sat back and let Joe Biden tank our country. He pushed mandates that risked American jobs, neglected an ailing supply chain, banned drilling for oil, and burned through taxpayer dollars.
The economy has taken a big hit, hurting Americans from all walks of life. Meanwhile, neither Joe nor his party is taking responsibility–even though they controlled Washington over the last two years.
Why would Americans be eager to re-elect this party? Even now, they are promising more of the same–which could plunge the country into not only a recession but a full-blown depression.
