Democrat Donor Investigation Shows Concerning Loophole – Half Of Donations Were Apparently From The Unemployed

What’s Happening:

Democrats make a big deal about foreign interference with our elections.

Even to this day, they claim President Trump was “helped” by Russia in 2016.

But a new report from Fox News shows that one of the left’s major fundraising tools is accepting half of its donations from the unemployed.

Which suggests something might be afoot:

A preliminary computer analysis by the Take Back Action Fund, obtained exclusively by Fox News, has found that nearly half of all 2019 donations to ActBlue were made by people claiming to be unemployed…

The trend is continuing this year: An Action Fund examination of 2020 data from January through August showed an uptick in “unemployed” donations through ActBlue, to 50.1% this year.

A report has revealed that in 2019, half of ActBlue’s donations came from people listed as unemployed.

In 2020, that trend has only increased, with 50.1% of donations made by the unemployed.

Political donations are managed by strict campaign finance rules and laws.

One of those rules is that a donor must list their employer. But the fact that so many claimed to be unemployed smells at least a little bit fishy.

Are unemployed people financially stable enough to give political contributions? So many that it would total $346 million?

Aren’t unemployed people… unemployed? Then where would they get money to just give away?

Maybe this suggests that these donors were trying to hide their true identities? Is it possible that these donations came circumvented certain campaign financing rules?

Perhaps they came from outside the United States?

We can’t say for sure, but this revelation raises plenty of questions. Enough questions that the federal government should take a look into it.

Keep in mind, Republicans get around 4% of their donations from people listed as unemployed.

That means Democrat donations from unemployed people are 10-fold higher.

Does that sound right to you?

Key Takeaways:

  • A new report reveals that the Democrat fundraising tool, ActBlue, receives half its donations from the unemployed.
  • That amounted to $346 million in donations from just 2019.
  • Democrats frequently complain about election interference but are silent on this.
