Ever since Kamala Harris was anointed as Joe Biden’s replacement in the presidential race, the mainstream media has been fawning over her husband, the Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff. Last month, MSNBC host Jen Psaki went so far as to gush over him by saying that he has “reshaped the perception of masculinity.”
Now, however, Emhoff’s past has come back to haunt him less than two weeks before the election. An ex-girlfriend is speaking out to expose who he really is behind the scenes.
A woman speaking on the condition of anonymity, giving her name only as “Jane,” is claiming that Emhoff slapped her in the face so hard during a 2012 celebrity event in France that she spun around.
“What’s frightening for a woman that’s been on the other end of it, is watching this completely fabricated persona being portrayed,” Jane said. “He’s being held out to be the antithesis of who he actually is. And that is utterly shocking.”
Indeed, it’s the mainstream media who is trying to prop Emhoff up as some kind of feminist icon. Clearly, he is anything but that.
Jane said that her trip to France with Emhoff for this celebrity event was a “fairytale” at first. After the event, at around 3am, however, things took a disturbing turn as they waited in line for a taxi.
From Daily Mail:
‘I decided I’m going to go up to the valet and give them 100 bucks, to get out of this line,’ Jane said. I put my hand on the valet’s shoulder and tell him, with my $100, could you please get me a car as soon as possible. As I’m talking to him, Doug got out of the line, comes up, turns me around by my right shoulder. I’m completely caught off guard, I’m not bracing, I’m in four inch heels, wearing a full-length gown and it’s between 2-3am. He slaps me so hard I spin around, and I’m in utter shock.
Jane was left stunned because there had been “no fight, no argument.”
“In that moment, his mask had dropped and I saw his dark side,” she added.
Jane Told Multiple Friends At The Time
Once they were in the car, Jane called a businessman friend of hers to tell him what happened. He has since confirmed to Daily Mail that this call took place.
One week later, Jane told this story to a female friend who had worked with Emhoff at the law firm Venable. The friend responded by saying that Emhoff had a “bad reputation” among women at the firm.
So much for Emhoff “reshaping the perception of masculinity,” Psaki. If he is reshaping it in any way, it’s in a decidedly negative direction.
Jane, who is a successful attorney in her own right, thankfully came to her senses after the slapping incident. She never spoke to Emhoff again after they returned from France. When she heard that he had become engaged to Harris years later, Jane got a “sinking feeling.”
“My first thought was she clearly has not done due diligence on him,” she recalled.
Now that would be very on brand for Harris, wouldn’t it?
Emhoff Denies Allegations
A spokesperson for Emhoff has denied that this ever happened. The spokesperson claimed that “this report is untrue,” and that “any suggestion that he would or has ever hit a woman is false.”
However, given how many people Jane told at the time, there’s plenty of corroboration of her story. After all, there is far more evidence to back up Jane’s story than there is in many of the claims that have been made against Donald Trump. If we’re really to “believe all women,” as Harris and her fellow Democrats have ordered us to do in the past, we should believe Jane.
While the mainstream media is always ready to report on virtually any allegation made against Trump, they are sweeping this under the rug as much as possible. The left claims to be defenders of women, yet when one of their own men is accused, their silence is deafening.
The hypocrisy of the left never ceases to amaze.
