For years, Republican leaders have questioned President Joe Biden’s behind-the-scenes business dealings. Those questions increased in number when the Hunter Biden fiasco hit a fever pitch.
Now, the House Oversight and Accountability Committee claims to have new information that implicates the entire Biden family.
And Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) says it gets even worse — because he claims the Bidens tried to hide it.
Comer released a memo ahead of a Wednesday press conference, and it contains several bombshell statements and allegations. All of it could force the Biden administration to respond.
The Committee has been active lately: it sent subpoenas to four different banks during its investigation, and received “thousands of records in response.”
And the result is nothing short of eye-opening, and has definitely rattled the bigwigs in D.C.
Via Fox News:
The House Oversight and Accountability Committee says the Biden family and its business associates created more than 20 companies and received more than $10 million from foreign nationals while Joe Biden served as vice president, and that some of these payments could indicate attempts by the Biden family to ‘peddle influence.’
$10 million is not a small sum, and Comer’s memo also claims the Biden family tried to “conceal the source and total amount received from the foreign companies.”
The 20 companies they created “were limited liability companies formed during Joe Biden’s vice presidency,” and they were evidently quite lucrative. They also had the help of Hunter Biden’s business partners, Rob Walker and James Gilliar.
The obtained records said these companies raked in over $10 million for the family, and that it all happened while Biden was VP.
The money was funneled to Biden family members in “incremental payments over time to different bank accounts,” which the Committee says is proof that the Bidens were trying to hide the transactions.
Also included in the memo is the mention of Chinese nationals and CCP companies, which allegedly hid the source of funds by “layering domestic limited liability companies.”
The investigation has now kicked into high gear, and adds that there are “signs” the Biden family might’ve snagged cash from foreign nationals attempting to influence U.S. policy:
The committee is concerned about the Biden family’s pattern of courting business in regions of the world in which the then Vice President had an outsize role and influenced U.S. policy.
The Biden family and associates’ activities in Romania bear clear indica of a scheme to peddle influence from 2015-2017.
The memo specified that the Bidens have “received millions of dollars from their Chinese partnership.”
Comer finishes by saying that The Committee keeps pressing forward, and they’re going after those who haven’t yet cooperated with the investigation. They will gather even more bank records and follow the money trail further.
All of this spells bad news for Biden, who just recently confirmed his re-election campaign for 2024.
Throughout the course of this investigation, the President has denied knowing anything about Hunter’s business affairs. But all this evidence points toward something much bigger.
It appears that Joe was directly involved in making millions for his entire family, and how they got that money is coming to light — and it’s highly questionable.
