The FBI does not have a great reputation among Americans these days. Reports have accused the agency of targeting Americans and the Democrats’ political opponents. Some have claimed the FBI ignored evidence that would have condemned Joe and Hunter Biden.
This week, the agency had to plead its case with Congress for the new fiscal year.
Despite its many failures, the agency demanded more tax dollars to do its job. The FBI director made some alarming claims about the dangers the United States is facing. If nothing is done, something terrible might happen.
From Fox News:
FBI Director Christopher Wray told a Senate Appropriations subcommittee on Tuesday that there is an increasing concern of a potential coordinated attack in the U.S., similar to the Islamic State in Khorasan Province (ISIS-K) attack in March at a concert hall in Russia…He said the increase in hate crimes significantly increased by 60% in the first four months after Oct. 7.
Though not all the hate crimes targeted the Jewish community — some targeted Muslim-Americans, Arab-Americans and others — the vast majority did target Jews, Wray explained.
The FBI has been tarnished as a politically compromised agency. And this session was about trying to coerce more money from the government for its operations. But it is unlikely Wray was fabricating his warnings. Ever since October 7th, hate crimes have risen by 60% in the United States.
And despite what liberals might claim, the vast majority of these crimes have been directed at Jewish Americans. Just looking at our college campuses would confirm that.
Director Wray worried that an attack similar to the one in Moscow could happen in the United States. A radical Muslim group associated with ISIS killed 137 people with automatic weapons at a Moscow concert hall. Wray had previously warned that something similar could happen in America since the October 7th terror attack in Israel.
Wray explained that other groups could be inspired to mimic what Hamas did in Israel. According to many experts, this is largely the cause of the attack in Moscow.
The question remains, however, why the FBI isn’t urging the White House to close the U.S. border. It is the biggest portal into the U.S. used by terror groups. Yet despite the growing threat, Biden leaves it open. Even his recent executive order failed to prevent thousands from flooding the country daily.
Key Takeaways:
- FBI Director Wray warned that a terror attack could happen on U.S. soil.
- The danger has risen sharply since the October 7th
- He claimed hate crimes have jumped 60%, especially against Jewish Americans.
