Chances are, if you’re reading this, you do not live in one of America’s big, Democrat-run cities. You might have used to, but you made sure you got out while you still could. And if you still live in one of those big cities, I don’t have to tell you to lock your doors, bar your windows, and do what you can to protect yourself.
Democrats have stuck their heads in the sand over the exploding crime epidemic in their cities. Voters refuse to reject the leaders that got them into this mess; they seem to be ignoring endless crime, homelessness, and drug abuse. But the federal government is reminding one major blue city that things are getting very, very bad.
From The Post Millennial:
Federal employees in San Francisco have been told to work from home because it is too dangerous to come to work.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the US Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary for Administration Cheryl R. Campbell issued the stay-home recommendation in an Aug. 4 memo to regional leaders, writing, “In light of the conditions at the (Federal Building) we recommend employees … maximize the use of telework for the foreseeable future.”
Wow. Not even the federal government can promise their employees’ safety. The head of San Francisco’s HHS told workers to stay at home and work–because they could not guarantee they wouldn’t become the victim of a crime.
Campbell specifically mentioned the “conditions” at the HHS headquarters. It’s getting that bad. Federal buildings aren’t even safe. That’s mostly because federal buildings are in the downtown parts of a city–where the homeless and crime is at its worst.
The federal government seems to have given up. They are not calling on SF to clean up the city, arrest criminals, and get rid of the homeless shanty towns. They are just telling workers, “Hey, um, yeah. If you don’t want to get mugged coming into work, stay home!”
It seems like Democrats are okay with letting crime become a normal part of their everyday life. Perhaps it will be like the weather report. Folks in San Francisco will open an app each day to see how crime is. “Oh, it’s raining. And there is a riot on Main Street. Guess I’ll bring my umbrella!”
Pathetic. Countless stores are just shutting down in San Francisco, leaving employees high and dry. The federal government isn’t that lucky, though. It has to keep an office in these cities. So, they are doing the only thing they can to keep workers safe: keep them locked up in their homes.
So, hey, if you want to live like it’s 2020 forever… move to San Franciso!
- Federal agencies are warning employees to work from home in San Francisco.
- This is due to such high levels of crime, the government can’t protect its workers.
- San Francisco, like many other blue cities, refuses to enforce its laws.
