We are getting closer and closer to a serious economic crisis. Yes, Biden’s been good at starting those. But this one could be easily avoided, if Biden bothered to work with House Republicans. Yet time and again, Biden has refused to make a deal to raise the debt ceiling.
And the nation might default in a matter of days.
House Republicans have already passed a bill that raises the ceiling and cuts spending. But it is unlikely that Biden will agree to sign this bill into law. His continued delay is only putting America at greater risk. And now, Newt Gingrich is predicting what will happen to old Joe if he can’t make a deal.

Gingrich encouraged McCarthy to stay the course and said if the U.S. government defaulted on its debt, it would fall on Biden and end his 2024 reelection bid…
“… if there is a default, it is going to go down in history as the Biden default. It is going to end his presidential campaign for 2024, and it is unacceptable,” he said.
Gingrich claims that if the nation defaults, Biden will receive the blame. He is calling it the “Biden default.” Newt believes that if this happens, it will end Joe Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign. Meaning, voters will not forgive Joe for letting us get into default and refuse to vote for him.
At the moment, Biden and his Democrats are trying to blame Republicans for this danger. Yet Republicans already passed a bill that will solve this problem. It is Joe who is refusing to compromise even a little bit.
Wasn’t Joe praised for being a great negotiator while he was in the Senate? Didn’t he negotiate deals while serving as Obama’s vice president? Yet now, when we are facing a serious crisis, Biden refuses to make a deal?
For some reason, in his mind, it’s his way or no way. Biden refuses to accept cuts to his spending plan, even though that spending plan is the very reason we’re in this mess in the first place. Biden is pushing radical, socialist spending, and doesn’t seem to care if it hurts our country.
Perhaps Newt is on to something, here.
