Many conservatives have felt for years that Republican lawmakers have been far too complacent when it comes to election security. Thankfully, however, it seems that they are finally making their move to try and ensure that the upcoming presidential election can’t be tampered with by the left.
The stakes of a presidential election have arguably never been higher than they are for this current one. When it comes to choosing between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, it’s clear that America needs the former more than ever, while there’s no telling what damage the latter would do to this country.
That’s why it came as good news to conservatives everywhere on Tuesday when the Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Whatley announced that the RNC has stepped up in a big way to boost election security. Their latest move might just ensure that Trump wins this election and ends up back in the White House.

“First off, we want to make sure that the rules of the road are the right rules of the road, and it is absolutely critical for us to ensure that every state is going to enforce the law that only American citizens can vote,” he said. “That is the law of the land in federal elections, and we need every single state to enforce it. We also look at states like Arizona, where they say that only US citizens can vote in the state election. That’s critical, and that’s why we want to make sure that we’re working to protect that.”He said that the RNC is also working to make voter ID the law of the land and forcing states to clean up their voter rolls so that there is no question about the legitimacy of the election.
“The other critical aspect is that we want to make sure that we’re in the room,” he added. “We were very excited to announce earlier this week that we have already recruited over 157,000 volunteers all across the country to our Protect The Vote Campaign.”
Whatley went on to say that their initial goal had been 100,000 volunteers, but they far surpassed that. He ensured conservatives that “we are getting them registered, we are getting them into training, and we’re going to have them in a position where we can deploy them as poll workers and poll observers on election day, and frankly, throughout all of the election period.”
A Long Time Coming
It’s about time that Republican lawmakers stepped up to increase election security!
Democrats have already shown repeatedly that they will do and say anything to keep Trump out of the White House. They are constantly accusing Republicans and foreign powers of interfering in our elections. Yet it could simultaneously be argued that many of the things Democrats have done as of late could be considered to be election interference.
Ensuring that illegal immigrants can’t vote in American elections needs to be a top priority for the Republican Party. It should go without saying that taxpaying American citizens should be the only ones voting in American elections. Sadly, the left has made it easier than ever before for non-citizens to vote. That needs to change immediately.
