Hollywood Liberals Turn on Democrats, Call Out Leaders for Massive Wildfires

California used to be the golden dream of America. Movie stars, perfect weather, and endless opportunity drew millions to its sunny shores. But these days, the Golden State seems to be losing its shine faster than a Tesla battery in a California blackout.

Just ask the 300,000 families who fled to Texas, Florida, and other red states last year alone. They’re escaping the highest state tax rate in America (13.3%), rampant crime, and a state government that seems more interested in banning gas stoves than protecting citizens. The mass exodus speaks volumes about progressive priorities.

This week, as devastating wildfires tore through the ritzy Pacific Palisades and surrounding Los Angeles neighborhoods, the mask finally slipped. Hollywood’s elite turned their anger toward Democratic leadership with the kind of fury usually reserved for celebrities who dare to question pronouns on Twitter.

Stars Unleash on Democratic Leadership

“City of LA you want everyone to evacuate yet you have complete gridlock and not one traffic cop on the roads helping,” wrote Sarah Michelle Gellar on Instagram, tagging LA Mayor Karen Bass directly. The “Buffy” star’s criticism was just the opening act in what became a chorus of celebrity outrage.

Actor James Woods, who lost his $4 million home in the blaze, didn’t mince words when he blamed the disaster on “liberal idiots like Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass.” Woods pointed out that one leader “doesn’t understand the first thing about fire management and the other can’t fill the water reservoirs.”

Sara Foster delivered perhaps the most devastating critique, highlighting the absurd priorities of progressive leadership: “We pay the highest taxes in California. Our fire hydrants were empty. Our vegetation was overgrown, brush not cleared. Our reservoirs were emptied by our governor because tribal leaders wanted to save fish. Our fire department budget was cut by our mayor. But thank god drug addicts are getting their drug kits.”

Where’s the Water in the World’s 5th Largest Economy?

The numbers tell a shocking story. Los Angeles residents pay nearly double the national average in local taxes, yet basic infrastructure is crumbling. The fire department’s budget was slashed by $17 million in 2024, while the city somehow found $50 million for “climate justice initiatives.”

Former “Dancing with the Stars” professional Valentin Chmerkovskiy summed up the absurdity: “5th largest economy on the planet. Firefighters didn’t have enough water pressure to do their jobs?! Are you joking me?! The taxes we pay for 3rd world infrastructure is unbelievable?!”

Real Americans Step Up While Government Steps Back

As homes burned and citizens fled for their lives, Mayor Bass was reportedly in Ghana. This reads like political satire, but it’s all too real. Meanwhile, the fire department discovered numerous dry hydrants throughout the evacuation zones – a direct result of progressive water management policies prioritizing fish over families.

In true American spirit, it was private citizens who stepped up when the government failed. Actor Steve Guttenberg showed what real community leadership looks like by helping firefighters move abandoned cars blocking emergency access routes.

The Progressive Paradise Goes Up in Smoke

The devastating fires have now consumed over 27,000 acres, destroyed thousands of structures, and forced more than 150,000 people to evacuate. The destruction has exposed the hollow promises of progressive leadership: sky-high taxes funding empty hydrants and absent leaders.

Key Takeaways:

• Democratic leadership abandoned LA during crisis – Mayor in Ghana while neighborhoods burned

• Despite the world’s 5th largest economy, basic infrastructure failed due to progressive mismanagement

• Hollywood celebrities finally speaking the truth about failed leftist policies destroying California

• Private citizens stepped up while government officials were nowhere to be found
