Since becoming the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Kamala Harris and her fellow Democrats have been hoping that Americans will forget her terrible record as a vice president. Unfortunately for them, however, a damning new poll has confirmed that this likely won’t be happening anytime soon.

Since Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Harris as his replacement, the mainstream media has been working overtime to falsely portray the vice president as a beloved figure. Of course, this is a blatant lie, as previous polls show that Harris has actually been one of the least popular vice presidents of all time throughout the Biden presidency.

Now, a new poll has revealed that there is one thing about Harris’ past that American voters will never forget: her abysmal immigration record. Indeed, this poll shows that after years of watching Harris fail miserably as Biden’s “border czar,” the vast majority of American voters believe that she is in favor of “open borders.”

Sixty-nine percent of voters believe Harris is for open borders, further demonstrating her vulnerability on immigration as she begins her presidential candidacy, according to a Harvard-Harris poll released on Tuesday. Voters across the political spectrum also generally agree with the statement, with 56% of Democrats, 82% of Republicans and 69% of independents responding that they believe the vice president supports open border policies.

A mere 31% of voters said they believe Harris stood against open borders, including only 44% of Democrats. Respondents also identified immigration as the second most important issue facing the country, beating out the economy, healthcare, crime and numerous other national concerns.

At the same time, respondents to the Harvard-Harris survey overwhelmingly opposed the idea of open borders, with 68% of voters answering that they stood against such policies. When split by party, Republicans and independents opposed the idea by wide margins, and Democrats were practically even, with 51% answering they supported open borders while 49% said they opposed them.

Harris Brought This On Herself

Harris only has herself to blame for this. She’s regularly attacked ICE over the years, often pushing the false leftwing narrative that the federal agency is racist. Harris has also outrageously claimed that being an illegal immigrant isn’t a crime. As the name “illegal immigrant” would suggest, this of course makes no sense, but that hasn’t stopped Harris from saying it.

“Certain communities saw ICE as comparable to the Ku Klux Klan for administering its power in a way that is causing fear and intimidation, particularly among immigrants and specifically among immigrants coming from Mexico and Central America,” Harris accused.

Harris told MSNBC in 2019 that the United States should “probably think about starting from scratch” on enforcing immigration laws, while a spokesperson for Harris said the senator was weighing “a complete overhaul of the agency, mission, culture, operations.”

Back in 2015, while serving as California’s attorney general, Harris told KCBS-TV in Los Angeles that “An undocumented immigrant is not a criminal. I know what a criminal looks like who’s committing a crime. An undocumented immigrant is not a criminal.”

No wonder Harris failed miserably when Biden tasked her of all people with fixing the border crisis. While Harris travelled to South America to investigate the “root causes” of the border crisis, the situation only got exponentially worse. To this day, the border is a complete mess, showing that Harris was a total failure at one of the few tasks that Biden actually gave her as vice president.

In the end, this new poll shows that the American people are not as dumb as Harris thinks we are. She may believe that we’re simply going to forget her pathetic immigration record. Sorry, Kamala, but that’s not going to happen!
