In the days since Democrats have anointed Vice President Kamala Harris as Joe Biden’s replacement in the 2024 presidential race, the mainstream media has been working overtime to falsely portray her as an incredibly popular woman who will easily win this election. Unfortunately for Harris and her supporters, however, a top Democrat specialist is speaking out to pour cold water on that blatant lie.

It took just two days after Biden dropped out of the race for Harris to get the necessary delegates to claim the Democratic presidential nomination. While the media was quick to celebrate this, they ignored the fact that Harris never got any tangible support from actual voters.

Democrat strategist Julian Epstein, a former chief counsel for the House Judiciary Committee, responded to this on Monday by warning Harris that she may not have the support from voters that she thinks she does. In fact, he stated that working-class voters, in particular, are increasingly moving away from her and toward Donald Trump.

“You really have to do an average of the polls,” Epstein explained to “Mornings With Maria” co-host Cheryl Casone. “If you do an average of the polls, Donald Trump is still ahead by about one to two points in the national election and still ahead in most battleground states. That’s according to five of the seven most recent polls. So, what we’ve seen is that the race has returned to the pre-debate norm where it has been stuck all year.

Trump leads Vice President Kamala Harris by 1.7% in a national head-to-head matchup, according to the Real Clear Polling average of polls from July 5 to 25, with Trump’s lead growing to 1.8% when Green Party candidate Dr. Jill Stein and independent presidential candidates Cornel West and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are included in surveys.

Ouch, that has got to hurt for Harris!

It should be noted that throughout Biden’s presidency, Harris has consistently polled as one of the least popular vice presidents of all time. Nothing has changed about Harris herself in the days since Biden dropped out of the race. Instead, the only thing that has changed is the way that the mainstream media covers her.

Just look at this CNN report about Harris from back in April. They were certainly singing a very different tune about Harris back then!

Working Class Voters See Through Harris

In his own interview, Epstein went on to double down in his warning for Harris.

“The one change that you are seeing, you know you really have to look at the crosstabs in the polls as well, and crosstabs is a fancy way for your viewers of saying you look at the demographic breakdown of what’s in the polls,” Epstein continued. “The significant change that we’re seeing is that Kamala Harris seems to be attracting more young voters that were leaving the Democratic Party and more black voters that were also leaving the Democratic Party under Biden and that’s good for her. On the other hand, older voters and working-class voters seem to be moving towards Trump, that’s bad news for her.”

The reality is that Harris has never been likable. Biden can at least blame his advanced age for his constant gaffes and awkward exchanges when speaking to the public. At 59, however, Harris does not have that to use as a crutch to explain her constant humiliating verbal mistakes.

When Harris ran for president back in 2020, she failed to get virtually any support. In the years since then, she’s continued to fail repeatedly in her role as vice president. For example, one of the few tasks that she was given was that of being Biden’s “border czar.” Yet the border crisis has only gotten exponentially worse on Harris’ watch.

The American people simply are not as dumb as Harris and the mainstream media think that we are. The press can fawn over Harris all that they want to, but working-class voters are not buying what they’re selling.
