Last week, Vice President Kamala Harris hurled a truly vile attack at Donald Trump when she claimed that he “desecrated sacred ground” during a visit to Arlington National Cemetery. Unfortunately for Harris, Trump is now firing back at her in a big way.
It’s safe to say that Harris just learned the hard way that when you take a shot at Trump, he hits back twice as hard!
Trump visited Arlington National Cemetery at the end of last month to attend a wreath-laying ceremony for 13 U.S. service members who were killed during the Afghanistan withdrawal. Afterward, NPR issued a report alleging that Trump’s campaign “had a verbal and physical altercation … with an official at Arlington National Cemetery.”
Although there was no actual proof of this aside from an anonymous source, Harris wasted no time in attempting to use it against the former president.
“Let me be clear: the former president disrespected sacred ground, all for the sake of a political stunt,” she wrote on social media.
As Vice President, I have had the privilege of visiting Arlington National Cemetery several times. It is a solemn place; a place where we come together to honor American heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service of this nation.
It is not a place for politics.

On Tuesday, Trump fired back on his Truth Social media platform. He claimed that this was a “made-up story” designed to cover up the Biden-Harris administration’s abysmal record in Afghanistan.

“There was no conflict or ‘fighting’ at Arlington National Cemetery last week. It was a made up story by Comrade Kamala and her misinformation squad. She made it all up to make up for the fact that she and Sleepy Joe have BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS for the INCOMPETENT AFGHANISTAN Withdrawal – THE MOST EMBARRASSING DAY IN U.S. HISTORY!!!”“They should have been at Arlington, not on a beach or studying for a Debate. Thank you to my friends, the GREAT GOLD STAR FAMILIES, for revealing the TRUTH OF A BEAUTIFUL DAY OF HONOR. Could not have been a nicer moment-And there were no fights or problems, only in the heads of those that are destroying our Country! MAGA 2024″
Trump’s campaign also denied NPR’s story, telling the publication that “the fact is that a private photographer was permitted on the premises and for whatever reason an unnamed individual, clearly suffering from a mental health episode, decided to physically block members of President Trump’s team during a very solemn ceremony.”
Biden And Harris Do Have Blood On Their Hands
Once again, Trump is spot on with his comments. The Afghanistan withdrawal was one of the biggest failings of Biden and Harris’ time in power. That’s why this wreath-laying ceremony is the last thing that they want American voters to be focusing on right now.
It should be noted that the White House has denied that Biden and Harris were invited to this ceremony. Kelly Barnett, Gold Star mother of Marine Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover, who died during the withdrawal, has since told the media that they were actually invited multiple times, yet they didn’t show up.
Being a no-show at this ceremony is about as disrespectful as it gets. That’s why we wouldn’t put it past the Harris campaign to create a false story that paints Trump in a disrespectful light when, in reality, he was the one giving these fallen servicemen the respect that they deserve.
This is, sadly, what happens when the media is so far in the pocket of the left. It allows Democrats like Harris to weaponize the media for their own gain. It gives them the potential to create stories about Trump that have no basis in reality.
We applaud Trump for issuing such a powerful statement in response. We can only hope that if Harris really did create a false story, she’ll think twice before messing with Trump again.
