The mainstream media just can’t seem to quit their attacks on President Trump. For years, they’ve tried everything from Russian stories to tax returns. Each time, their “bombshells” fizzle faster than a wet firecracker on the Fourth of July.

This week brought another desperate attempt to connect Trump to Jeffrey Epstein. The news people have been circling this topic for years, hoping to find something—anything—that might stick. But like so many times before, their latest “big revelation” has blown up in their faces.

The Wall Street Journal published what they claimed was a racy letter Trump sent to Jeffrey Epstein for his 50th birthday back in 2003. The letter supposedly included a drawing of a naked woman and strange text that the Journal excitedly reported as proof of a close relationship.

President Trump immediately called the story completely false. Trump didn’t stop there. He told the Journal directly, “I never wrote a picture in my life. I don’t draw pictures of women. It’s not my language. It’s not my words.” The President has promised to sue the outlet for publishing the fake letter.

MAGA Supporters Rush to Trump’s Defense

Within minutes of the story breaking, well-known MAGA voices rallied around the President. They pointed out the obvious problems with the Journal’s claims.

From The Post Millennial:

Major MAGA influencers came out in full support of President Donald Trump after the Wall Street Journal dropped a story on Thursday night saying that in 2003, Trump had sent a racy birthday message to disgraced, deceased Jeffrey Epstein. In response to the article, which claimed that Trump had written a note of birthday wishes along with a line drawing of a naked woman, Charlie Kirk, Jack Posobiec, Lara Loomer and others called “bullsh*t.”

Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA tweeted, “This is not how Trump talks at all. I don’t believe it.”

Jack Posobiec of Human Events Daily made a similar point: “Trump doesn’t talk like this at all. And this was several years before Epstein was originally arrested.”

Even Elon Musk weighed in on the fight, simply stating, “Yeah, the letter sounds bogus.”

Perhaps most telling was Megyn Kelly’s blunt take. Despite her sometimes rocky relationship with Trump, she didn’t mince words: “This is the dumbest attempted hit piece I’ve ever read.”

The Evidence Against the WSJ’s Claims

Anyone familiar with Trump’s speaking style immediately spotted the fake. The alleged letter used flowery language completely unlike Trump’s direct, straight-to-the-point way of talking.

Laura Loomer pointed out a simple fact that the WSJ somehow missed: “Everyone who actually KNOWS President Trump knows he doesn’t type letters. He writes notes in big black Sharpie.”

One social media user joked, “We have thousands of hours of Trump talking on camera and he’s never once sounded like a gay twilight character.”

The Journal claimed the letter was part of a birthday album collected by Ghislaine Maxwell. Yet they gave no proof of the letter’s realness or explanation of how it was “prepared.”

Media Desperation on Full Display

The rush to defend Trump shows the MAGA movement can spot fake news from a mile away. This comes after what the Post Millennial called “a tumultuous week” where Trump supporters and the President seemed at odds over how to handle Epstein-related issues.

But when faced with an obvious made-up story, the base united instantly. The quick rally around Trump proves that despite occasional disagreements, the MAGA movement can tell the difference between real debate and fake hit pieces.

The Wall Street Journal’s decision to publish such an obviously fake “bombshell” shows just how desperate the mainstream media has become. They’ll try anything to hurt President Trump, even if it means embarrassing themselves in the process.

Trump and his supporters have weathered these storms before. And if the WSJ’s latest flop is any sign, they’ll be weathering them for a long time to come.

Key Takeaways

  • The Wall Street Journal published an alleged Trump-Epstein letter that Trump flatly denies writing
  • MAGA influencers quickly united to point out obvious problems with the letter’s authenticity
  • Even Trump critics like Megyn Kelly called it “the dumbest attempted hit piece I’ve ever read”
  • The media’s desperate attempts to connect Trump to Epstein continue to fail under basic scrutiny
