Big Blue City on Verge of Epic Collapse – Radical Mayor Made 1 Colossal Mistake

What’s Happening:

Boy, now would be a good time to get out of a blue city, if I were you. We’ve seen, repeatedly, over recent years how much damage Democrats have caused to the communities they run. Some of the largest cities in America are falling apart, thanks to far-left policies enacted by their leaders.

We are not exaggerating when we say some of the country’s greatest cities are overrun with garbage, homelessness, drug addiction, and crime. The streets are literally littered with heroin needles. And one major blue city is facing the worst-case scenario. It could soon totally shut down. And the mayor appears to be in denial.

From Breitbart:

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass attempted Monday to ease fears that the city will “shut down” on Tuesday when over 11,000 municipal workers, including airport and sanitation workers, go on strike to protest her administration’s bargaining tactics.

“The City of Los Angeles is not going to shut down,” Bass said, as reported by the Los Angeles Times — contradicting Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 721 president David Green, who vowed to do exactly that with the walkout.

Wow, this is very bad. Joining the entitled elitists in Hollywood who are striking, Los Angeles’s labor union is planning a walkout this week. Over 11,000 municipal workers will go on strike, leaving the city without a single person to manage it.

This is a disaster of epic proportions. There won’t be workers managing a wide spectrum of city services, bringing Los Angeles to a standstill. You thought La La Land was bad before? I don’t want to be anywhere near LA right now.

The mayor claims the city will not shut down, but she has no way of providing these vital services when so many workers go on strike. And they are striking because of her administration’s bargaining tactics.

This could have all been avoided, had Mayor Bass just shot straight with these workers. Instead, it appears the union is upset over how the city tried to negotiate–and they are making Bass pay. A variety of services will not be provided, including trash pickup, services at the airport, and more.

You have to wonder why locals keep voting for these numbskulls. Residents of blue cities keep suffering unspeakable consequences. Yet they refuse to elect leaders who will put their cities back together.

Key Takeaways:

  • Los Angeles will suffer service disruptions as over 11,000 workers go on strike.
  • This comes as the major blue city suffers from rising crime and homelessness.
  • The mayor is scrambling, saying the city will not shut down.
