I think it’s safe to say that Democrats despise Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Before he showed up, Florida was a swing state. Any election could have swung the state in the Democrats’ favor. Yet today, thanks to DeSantis’s bold, conservative leadership, Democrats have given up Florida as lost.
And now, they are going to war with the Sunshine State.
It seems Democrats really hate the fact that the governor passed laws protecting families and students. Despite saying they aren’t “grooming” children, Democrats are ticked off that DeSantis banned such practices in public schools. Now, the NAACP is giving a shocking warning to black Americans who might want to visit Florida this summer season.

The statement, released on Saturday, accused Governor Ron DeSantis of making “aggressive attempts to erase black history and to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in Florida schools.”
The travel advisory goes on to warn black Americans that “Florida is openly hostile toward African Americans, people of color, and LGBTQ+ individuals. Before traveling to Florida, please understand that the state of Florida devalues and marginalizes the contributions of, and the challenges faced by African Americans and other communities of color.”
So, because DeSantis banned critical race theory and gender ideology in schools, Florida is “hostile” to black Americans? Really? Why isn’t the NAACP warning black Americans from going to New York City or Chicago? They seem like worst places than sunny Florida.
Or what about San Francisco or Seattle, where you can no longer walk down the streets safely? But Florida is bad?
And just as the NAACP’s board issues this warning, the board’s chief’s secret comes spilling out.

According to his Twitter bio, Leon Russel, chairman of the NAACP board lives in Tampa, FL. Huh? I thought Florida was openly hostile to people of color? Why would this man live in such a terrible place? I guess because Florida has no state income tax, low crime, great weather, and a higher quality of life than, say, the southside of Chicago!
So, Russell doesn’t want black families enjoying Florida beaches, but he’ll straight up live there? Hypocrisy, much?
Democrats are constantly bashing conservative states. Yet when nobody’s looking, they love traveling to them. AOC was spotted vacationing in open Florida while her home state was locked down. Gov. Newsom of California banned state employees from traveling to Montana. Guess where he went for a family vacation?
Yep, I guess they all do this.
