Nikki Haley Betrays ‘Freezing’ McConnell – She Drops Double-Hammer on Mitch and Congress

What’s Happening:

For the second time in as many weeks, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell froze during a live event. He stared blankly at reporters for over 30 seconds, unable to speak. The event was similar to something that happened weeks earlier when the Republican failed to answer a question.

The congressional doctor claims he’s “cleared” for work. But McConnell’s office has failed to explain these alarming episodes. GOP candidate for president, Nikki Haley, is just as disturbed by these events as the rest of America. And she gave a 3-word indictment against our Congress.

From Fox News:

“No one should feel good about seeing that any more than we should feel good about seeing… Joe Biden’s decline…”

What I will say is, right now, the Senate is the most privileged nursing home in the country,” Haley added. “I mean, Mitch McConnell has done some great things and he deserves credit. But you have to know when to leave.”

Ouch. Nikki Haley condemned Congress for allowing aging and ailing members to continue in office. She called our Congress the most “privileged nursing home” in America. That is a brutal indictment against our nation’s legislature.

Congress should be comprised of leaders who are smart, capable, and healthy. But the average age of our congressmen continues to tick up. Entrenched lawmakers refuse to step down. They only get older and appear to struggle to handle the increasing challenges facing our nation.

Should men like McConnell or women like 90-year-old Feinstein be deciding on crises like AI? Do they even understand what TikTok is? As America faces growing challenges and divisive issues like transgenderism, do we trust people the same age as our grandparents to lead?

There is such a thing as a “young” seventy-year-old. But that’s not what we’re seeing in Congress. Nobody should think it’s okay for McConnell to just freeze during a discussion. It’s very alarming that it happened twice–with no explanation.

For neither Congress nor his office to offer an answer to the American public is unacceptable. The more Congress ignores this problem, the angrier Americans are going to get.

Key Takeaways:

  • Nikki Haley criticized Congress as the most “privileged nursing home” in America.
  • This comes after Mitch McConnell froze for a second time before reporters.
  • Americans are beginning to demand term limits for congress members.
