Days After Omar Accused Of Paying New Husband – Public Records Show She Paid His Firm Another $600K In July

What’s Happening:

News has come to light recently, that appears to be putting “Squad” member Ilhan Omar in hot water.

She has faced plenty of scrutiny over the years for anti-Israel and anti-American comments.

But what might sink her for good is what she’s been doing with campaign funds.

We revealed that she had spent a large chunk of money on her husband’s firm. Now, we are learning the total is higher than first we realized:

Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar’s re-election campaign paid her husband’s consulting firm more than $600,000 in the first three weeks of July, Federal Election Commission (FEC) records show.

Omar’s campaign has now paid E Street Group, the consulting firm run by Omar’s husband, Tim Mynett, more than $1.7 million since August 2018, according to FEC records

Omar has faced complaints over campaign funds she has spent on “services” provided by her husband’s firm.

A new report reveals she paid an additional $600,000, bringing the total to $1.7 million.

Campaign finance laws forbid the use of campaign funds for anything unrelated to the race in which a person is running.

That means a candidate can’t pocket the cash raised for the campaign. It also means they can’t spend it on anything but the campaign.

But people are getting concerned over the large sums of money Omar has spent on a company owned by her husband.

According to reports, all this money was spent on ads and other consulting services. But $1.7 million is a lot of cash.

If any candidate spent money in even a remotely curious way, the government would investigate.

So, will Omar be investigated by the House or FCC over these reports? Will we bother to see evidence that this was all on the up-and-up?

Or will Omar once again get out of trouble, because she is aligned with the left?

Time and again Omar has faced criticism for her comments and stances. But her party appears unwilling or too afraid to challenge her.

These new expense reports just might be ignored by Democrats, once again.

Do you think Omar should be investigated for these concerning reports?

Key Takeaways:

  • FCC reports reveal Ilhan Omar paid an additional $600,000 of campaign funds to her husband’s firm.
  • In total, her campaign paid the firm over $1.7 million.
  • Questions have been raised about where all the money is going.
