After Buttigieg Blames Trump for Train Crash – Pete’s Own State Drops an Anvil on Him

What’s Happening:

Weeks went by before Department of Transportation head Pete Buttigieg commented on the massive train derailment in East Palestine, OH. This situation is turning into a calamity, as officials drove residents from their homes by burning off toxic chemicals. Many fear for their lives. Meanwhile, Biden’s pick to lead when situations like this arise was MIA for a long time.

Something tells me he was on another vacation.

When he did finally show up, he only made matters worse. And, in a move only a spoiled child would make, he had the audacity to blame someone else for his failures. Who? You already know.

From The Post Millennial:

In a Tuesday evening Twitter thread on the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) plans to tackle the derailments like the one that contaminated air and waterways in the northeastern Ohio village, Buttigieg said that his agency has been hindered by a Trump-era statute. In 2018, DOT withdrew a 2015 rule that required trains carrying certain dangerous chemicals to utilize electronically controlled pneumatic (ECP) brakes. At the time, the agency didn’t find conclusive evidence of the technology’s benefits, reported Fox News.

Wow, how pathetic. Buttigieg, grasping for straws, suggested the horrific derailment that has displaced thousands was somehow the fault of the previous administration. Kids, this is a good example of what we call bad leadership.

Instead of taking responsibility for this failure, this poor excuse of a man is blaming someone else. But he learned this from his boss, Joe Biden, who has yet to take responsibility for the many crises he started.

But despite this Hail Mary move, people are buying Buttigieg’s excuse.

From Fox News:

Voicing their concerns at a town hall on Wednesday night, Ohio residents impacted by this month’s toxic train derailment asked where Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was.

“Where’s Pete Buttigieg? Where’s he at?” one man asked Mayor Trent Conaway.

“I don’t know. Your guess is as good as me,” the mayor replied.

He told attendees that Tuesday was the first time he had “heard anything from the White House.”

In a packed high school stadium, residents were outraged that they hadn’t heard anything from Buttigieg. They demanded answers from the mayor of the city, who revealed he hadn’t heard anything from the White House until this Tuesday.

That’s pretty unacceptable. And it doesn’t seem that Pete’s excuse is cutting any ice. These residents know whose to blame, and that’s the man responsible for transportation. Buttigieg has neglected numerous crises since entering office.

He’s sat back and enjoyed the perks of being a White House official, but he’s done none of the job. It seems he expects others to deal with this crisis, while he and his husband jet off to another island somewhere.

But Americans are done with his excuses. And it’s about time he faced the music.

Key Takeaways:

  • Pete Buttigieg tried to blame Donald Trump for a derailment that happened on his watch.
  • Buttigieg was MIA during this crisis; he has been MIA for numerous crises hitting the country.
  • Residents of East Palestine blasted Buttigieg during a town hall meeting this week.
