The First Big Post Debate Polls Are In – And It’s a Political Earthquake for 2024

There’s nothing that Democrats fear more than Donald Trump getting back in the White House. Unfortunately for them, however, their nightmare is well on its way to becoming a reality.

Last week’s presidential debate was nothing short of a disaster for President Joe Biden. To say that Biden appeared to be confused for much of the debate might be the understatement of the year. He lost his train of thought on multiple occasions. When Biden did speak, what he had to say was oftentimes unintelligible.

Trump’s debate performance was a strong contrast to Biden’s. The former president came off as far more mentally fit than his opponent could ever hope to be.

Biden’s abysmal debate performance against Trump made it impossible for even some of the most devoted Democrats to deny that his cognitive abilities are simply not up to par. The left went into panic mode afterward as they wondered what impact his performance would have on his polling numbers against Trump.

Those numbers are now in, and let’s just say Democrats are not going to be happy about them.

From Fox News:
Trump stands at 41% support and Biden at 38% among registered voters nationwide in a USA Today/Suffolk University survey conducted Friday through Sunday and released on Tuesday.

The Democratic incumbent in the White House and his Republican predecessor were tied at 37% in the previous USA Today/Suffolk University poll, which was conducted in May.

Ouch, that has got to hurt!

Meanwhile, making matters even worse for Biden and his fellow Democrats is a new poll out of Pennsylvania. This poll shows that in this crucial must-win state for the left, Trump currently has 48 percent support to compared to Biden’s 44 percent support.

We previously reported that in the wake of the debate, Trump also has a four-point lead in Michigan. This is another must-win state for the current president. Each of these polls should serve as the ultimate warning to Biden. This is nearly as big of a swing that could possibly happen in less than a week, given how entrenched this vote is likely set to be.

During the last election, Democrats were able to have Biden campaign from a basement. This allowed them to hide his already developing cognitive flaws from American voters. On this time around, however, that strategy simply is not going to fly.

The American people are not as dumb as Democrat officials have long believed them to be. For years, they’ve been told by the Biden administration and leftwing media not to believe their lying eyes and ears when it comes to Biden’s cognitive skills. They were told that despite everything they see and hear from Biden, that there’s actually nothing wrong with him both physically and mentally.

The debate last Thursday proved that this was all a lie.

Biden’s performance in the debate was so bad that he may not be able to come back from it. The left would like you to forget this debate as soon as possible and simply move on. They can return to their Trump-bashing all that they want to, but the American people have seen the truth. Indeed, it is clear that the writing is on the wall for Biden.

Jill might want to start packing her and her husband’s bags now, because it seems increasingly likely that they’ll be moving out come November!

Key Takeaways:

  • Trump and Biden were neck and neck in many polls heading into this debate.
  • Trump now has a clear lead over Biden nationwide in the wake of the debate.
  • The Supreme Court ruling in Trump’s presidential immunity case gives him even more breathing room going into this election.
