Republicans Announce Host For 1st Presidential Forum – And He’s The Perfect Pick

What’s Happening:

There are only a few months before the first primary voters head to the polls. The GOP primaries have already been hot. Everything is on the line in 2024 and it’s critical Republicans get out and vote to ensure Joe Biden is sent packing.

For the first time, Republican candidates will be facing off in a presidential forum:

The event will be taking place in Iowa, a key early state in the primary battle. Nearly every top GOP candidate will be attending, and the man they picked to host the event is absolutely perfect.

We’re guessing you’ll agree… From Daily Wire:

‘Blaze Media is teaming up with THE FAMiLY LEADER to bring you the first presidential forum of the 2024 Republican Primary season, hosted by Tucker Carlson,’ the media company said in a statement.

‘We’ll be live streaming this event all day Friday, July 14th on BlazeTV and the BlazeTV YouTube channel.’

The Friday event will feature numerous current and former elected leaders who are running for president — including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, and Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC).

Blaze Media announced they will be airing the special presidential forum on Friday, July 14th. Hosting the event will be none other than acclaimed conservative newsman Tucker Carlson.

Carlson was infamously fired from Fox News earlier this year and has made waves by continuing his hard-hitting show on Twitter.

The event is being put on by Bob Vander Plaats, CEO of The FAMiLY Leader, an influential organization in the state. Tucker is known for his strong convictions and knack for getting at the truth, so he’s the perfect choice to host the first primary showdown of this election.

However, notably missing from this event will be frontrunner Donald Trump.

Trump’s people claim he has a scheduling conflict, but some point out his ongoing feud with Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds — that’s why many have speculated that Trump will not attend any primary debates, assuming his current polling lead will keep him safe.

But it is likely his opponents will take advantage of his absence. So in that respect, this event will be very intriguing for the GOP.

Key Takeaways:

  • Tucker Carlson will be hosting the first GOP presidential event of the election season.
  • The event will be held in Iowa and feature the leading GOP candidates.
  • Iowa is one of the first, key states in GOP primary voting.
