Secret Service Agent Ready to Defend Trump – Report Claims He’ll Testify That Accusations Are False

This week’s January 6 hearings just hit a fever pitch, thanks to the bombshell testimony by a former White House aide.

Cassidy Hutchinson made several stunning accusations while testifying to the J6 committee, and this includes Trump trying to grab the steering wheel of his Suburban, and even “lunging” at a secret service agent.

Trump has already denied the allegations, calling them “sick and fraudulent” — and now more evidence might derail Hutchinson’s claims.

Democrats have seized on this testimony, as they continue to attempt to prove that Trump broke the law on January 6.

And according to most Republican leaders, they also seek to shift attention away from the Biden administration and its flagging approval numbers. Many right-wingers have called this nothing but “political theater.”

Now, though, everyone is all ears: and people want to know if this former aide is really telling the truth.

However, the cat might already be out of the bag, as we’re hearing reports that one Secret Service agent will testify that Hutchinson’s allegations are false, which would really help Trump’s cause.

From Breitbart:

The lead Secret Service agent in charge of President Trump’s detail on January 6 will reportedly testify that the former president did not try to commandeer his suburban during the riots, thereby contradicting testimony from former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson on Tuesday.

ABC News made the same confirmation, which says that the Secret Service is ready to “push back” against any accusation of Trump trying to grab the steering wheel or assaulting any agent.

If Agent Bobby Engel’s testimony is accurate, this could prove to be an immense victory for the defense.

Democrats have been trying for months to bring America’s attention to the J6 hearings, even while Trump has continued to defend himself at every turn. Republicans are also quick to dismiss the hearings.

Currently, the Hutchinson testimony regarding an “enraged” or “furious” Trump may not hold much water. If it doesn’t, the “star witness” for the prosecution might become a punchline in the near future.

So far, one could argue that the January 6 incident is only being used to avoid focusing on President Joe Biden and the numerous problems facing America right now.

With out-of-control inflation, a skyrocketing cost-of-living, and a very shaky stock market, most citizens have other concerns. And the GOP claims Democrats are just trying to bury those concerns beneath the J6 news.

However, it may not work in the long run.

Key Takeaways:

  • The Secret Service is reportedly prepared to deny testimony made against former President Donald Trump.
  • The lead Agent may testify that former White House staffer Cassidy Hutchinson’s accusations are false.
  • This would be a tremendous blow to Democrats, and might go a long way toward exonerating Trump.
