Joe Biden may never serve a second term if this prediction from Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) holds true. Biden’s performance in office and string of public gaffes have Cruz stating publicly that Democrats will ditch bumbling Biden for a candidate the party believes can deliver in 2024.
The problem is that Cruz’s likely candidate could create greater problems for America. He also believes Democrats will wait as long as they can to make the change which will upend the primary race and the general election.

“Here’s the scenario that I think is perhaps most likely and most dangerous,” Cruz said. “In August of 2024, the Democrat kingmakers jettison Joe Biden and parachute in Michelle Obama.”
Cruz believes the sudden change could help console the Democrat base of voters while avoiding a political knife fight among other wannabe candidates. The senator is unsure if Michelle Obama would want to be president. He does believe that former President Barack Obama is effectively running the Biden administration and he could be running the country again with his wife in the White House.
“And that ought to scare the hell out of anyone who is unhappy about the direction this country is going and doesn’t want us to go even crazier, in an even worse direction,” Cruz said.
The prospect of Biden being replaced may seem odd for a sitting president, but Cruz said Biden could be seen as a hero of the Democrats Party if he announced he was dropping out of the presidential race. Cruz said Biden would be championed as “demonstrating the ultimate statesman principle” in the same light as FDR or George Washington.
Any big changes with Biden’s re-election effort will be caused by the Democrat “command and control” system, Cruz said. He said Democrats see Michelle Obama as higher in the “pecking order” than any other contenders, including senators and governors. He sees her as the political solution for “Democrat power brokers that doesn’t cause a civil war” in the party.
Cruz may well be right considering how ineffective Biden appears in public and how Republicans have ramped up an impeachment inquiry into possible Biden family corruption. By next year Biden may have to pull the rip cord on his golden parachute and save himself. The squabbling among Democrats to see who replaces him could be a political skirmish of historic levels.
