But numerous reports, from both liberals and conservatives, have made it clear that the border is under siege. Some predict 10 million illegal border crossers will end up in America, by the end of Biden’s time in office.

Sen. Ted Cruz has been one of the leaders raising the alarm. He has traveled to the border previously, releasing video footage of the growing crisis. Just recently, he spoke on the increasing number of migrants entering the United States. And he has issued a scathing rebuke against Biden and his administration.

Ted Cruz (R-TX) slammed President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party this week over the renewed explosion of illegal immigration on the U.S. southern border, saying that they “empower the cartels” to make billions of dollars through their illicit activities while ignoring the suffering of the American people…

“[Biden and Democrats] empower the cartels and among other things make billions of dollars for the cartels in human trafficking and drug trafficking not concerning themselves with the death and suffering and misery that results from it.”

Sen. Cruz accused Biden and his party of empowering the cartels, thanks to the border crisis. Joe Biden has neglected to address the millions of illegal aliens crossing the border. Border town officials have revealed that drug cartels from Mexico are largely controlling the activity.

Reports have indicated that these cartels are making more money smuggling people over the border than selling drugs. The results have been “death and suffering” for both migrants and Americans, according to Cruz.

The Republican’s shocking rebuke points the blame on Biden’s border policies. He is claiming Democrats are responsible for the “billions of dollars” cartels have been making by smuggling people over the border.

The Biden administration is doing more than just neglecting federal immigration law, however. In addition to providing illegal crossers with trips to various states and benefits, Biden has been cutting down measures states are using to protect the border. The administration sent federal officers to remove razor-wire Texas put up to discourage illegal entry.

Texas Gov. Abbott quickly addressed the move and ordered the Texas National Guard to restore the barriers.
