Hostin mourning Haley’s loss is a stark change in how she treated the GOP candidate in the past few months.

One of the liberal hosts of The View wore all black to mourn Nikki Haley’s loss. Sunny Hostin who, along with the rest of her co-hosts, has long spouted support for progressive views, while trashing conservatives.

Yet she was so grieved that Republican candidate Nikki Haley ended her campaign, that she had to wear “funeral chic”—whatever that is. Apparently, while in mourning, she still had to look good on camera.

Hostin was hardly a Haley supporter, however. She had previously insulted the Republican figure calling her a “chameleon.” It is highly unlikely she would have voted for Haley, had she won the GOP nomination.

It seems very odd that Democrats wanted Haley nominated by Republicans. Some even switched parties to vote for Haley over Trump. But all signs point to Democrats doggedly supporting Joe Biden in the general election. Were these liberals only supporting Haley, hoping she’d lose to Biden?

Hostin accused Republicans of putting “party before country.” Yet I wonder if the wealthy East Coast Democrat has suffered the same problems as most working Americans, during the Biden administration.

Under Biden, the country has faced a border crisis, rising crime, crippling inflation, and high energy prices. It is not far-fetched to believe many voters will choose Trump, hoping he’ll end these problems.

Yet Democrats will still vote for Biden, despite the harm he’s caused to the U.S.

So, who is putting party before country?
