Ever since Israel was attacked by terror group Hamas, Hollywood celebrities have been talking about it. A large group of actors and people in entertainment have come out in support of Israel. They have even petitioned Joe Biden to work to get Israeli hostages released, who are still captive by Palestinian terrorists.
But while many in the public eye stand on Israel’s side, many Democrats have sided with its enemies. Progressives have accused Israel of “genocide,” seemingly ignoring the evil done against the Jewish state.
The family of one A-List celebrity has waded into the intense conflict. But not in the way you are expecting. George Clooney’s wife has sided with the enemies of Israel. But you have not yet begun to consider what she was behind.

Human rights attorney Amal Clooney, wife of actor George Clooney, advised the International Criminal Court on seeking the arrest warrants for Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu and top Israeli officials as well as Hamas leaders such as Gaza Yahya Sinwar…“I do not accept that any conflict should be beyond the reach of the law, nor that any perpetrator should be above the law. So I support the historic step that the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court has taken to bring justice to victims of atrocities in Israel and Palestine,” she added.
Amal Clooney, the wife of George Clooney, helped the International Criminal Court prepare arrest warrants against the prime minister of Israel. The human rights lawyer is apparently echoing Hamas’ narrative, that Israel is responsible for the deaths of civilians in Gaza.
She claims Israel’s leaders are guilty of breaking the law and took the extraordinary step to help draft these egregious warrants.
The far left has ignored the crimes done against Israel, including the October 7th attack and the ongoing attacks against its land. Instead, the view seems to be that Israel is wrong to retaliate and that the (largely misreported) deaths in Gaza are their fault.
The problem with that logic is Amal and the ICC appear to think Israel should not have done anything after October 7th. That the nation should have just sat still as vile terrorists killed, raped, and kidnapped its civilians. This is largely an anti-Israel and antisemitic view, with a standard that would never be applied to any other country.
Ukraine isn’t being blamed for deaths in Russia, despite it frequently attacking the nation. Nobody blames the United States when it retaliates against threats. The same could be said of almost any other country. Yet the ICC, with Clooney’s help, accused Israel of war crimes—even though it is the victim in this war.
The far left has pushed a narrative that Palestinians are victims and Israel is to blame for most of the death and destruction in this war. Many have pointed out, however, that there would have been no war, had Hamas not invaded. Every death, they say, is Hamas’ fault, not Israel.
But progressives refuse to see the truth in this view and continue to demand Israel’s punishment and destruction.
