Former President Donald Trump has a nose for news and an instinct for what is on the minds of people. His ability to tap into the wants and needs of the American voter propelled him to his first term in office.
Sanctuary cities across the country – fueled by Joe Biden’s open border policies – have people from all walks of life up in arms over the economic devastation caused by illegal immigrants. The people want this situation corrected, and they want it done quickly.
Trump has a fast-track plan to get the border and illegal immigrant policy under control if he gets back to the White House. His “Big Move” could be the largest of its kind in American history. He announced in Iowa on the campaign trail that if elected to a second term he would begin by “immediately” terminating “every Open Borders policy of the Biden Administration.”

“Following the Eisenhower Model, we will carry out the largest domestic deportation operation in American history,” Trump said.
He plans to “invoke the Alien Enemies Act to remove all known or suspected Gang Members, drug dealers, or Cartel Members from the United States.” This is needed, he said. To end the “scourge of illegal alien gang violence once and for all.”
Trump plans to pull together huge portions of federal law enforcement and immigration enforcement to achieve his deportation goals. This would include parts of the FBI, Department of Homeland Security, Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Trum also pledged to deploy the U.S. Navy to blockade fentanyl shipments in waters around the United States.
“I will make clear that we must use any and all resources needed to stop the invasion…,” Trump said, stressing that “before we defend the borders of foreign countries, we must secure the border of our country.”
Trump also pledged to revive policies under his first administration that shunned illegal immigrants from specific countries known to be openly opposed to America, such as Yemen, Iran, North Korea, and Venezuela.
“Those who join our country must love our country—and we are going to keep foreign Christian-hating communists, Marxists, and socialists the hell out of America,” Trump added.
To help keep bad actors out of the country, Trump said he would designate major cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. This action could cut cartels off from access to global financial systems. He would also ask Congress to pass legislation for stiffer criminal penalties, so drug smugglers and human traffickers receive the death penalty.
Trump believes that “2024 is our final battle,” and that the Deep State must be demolished in Washington, D.C., along with the “sick political class that hates our country.”
Trump is making these bold statements as tens of thousands of migrants cross the border every few days with estimates of around 230,000 border crossers in August which would be higher than the over 180,000 in July and 144,000 in June.
