Trump Gives America a 3-Word Promise -It’s Guaranteed to Tick Off Joe Biden

Donald Trump scored a historic victory in Iowa, receiving the largest share of votes than any Republican in history. Some are saying the race is over, convinced he will dominate the rest of the primaries.

It should come as no surprise that Trump continues to focus his attention on the Biden administration.

The former president recently called out one of Biden’s biggest failures. It is the top concern with voters going into 2024. And Trump established his plans to fix it with just three words.

From Just the News:
Former President Donald Trump took a solid lead in the Iowa caucuses Monday, and following his victory, he reiterated his plan that, should he take the White House in November, he’ll return America to energy independence.

“We’re going to drill, baby, drill right away. Drill, baby, drill,” Trump said.

With inflation and the state of the economy rating high on voters’ concerns, energy is likely to be a key issue in this year’s presidential election.

Following his decisive victory in Iowa, Trump promised to restore American energy independence. He harkened back to a common phrase thrown around by Republicans, “Drill, baby, drill.”

The term was popularzied during the 2008 Election. Sarah Palin, then running for vice president, used the phrase frequently. She, the former governor of Alaska, was a strong supporter of America’s oil and natural gas industries.

Under President Biden, American oil companies have lost access to most of the nation’s national resources. Biden has canceled leases to drill for oil and natural gas on federal land. That has resulted in a massive decline in U.S.-produced energy, contributing to high energy costs.

Skyrocketing gas prices have contributed to the country’s inflation woes. The cost of nearly everything has gone up over the last three years, thanks to rising transportation costs.

Biden has refused to reverse course on his far-left green policy. Because of that, energy prices have continued to remain high—hurting working Americans. Trump’s promise to bring back drilling would have a near-immediate impact on gas prices and the economy.

During Trump’s first term, America became the leading exporter of energy in the world. Gas and energy prices were down, contributing to a thriving economic climate. Much of that was upended, when Biden entered office.

Key Takeaways:

  • Donald Trump vowed to “Drill, baby, drill” if re-elected.
  • This is a shot at Joe Biden, who shut down most of America’s oil production.
  • Biden’s far-left green agenda has contributed to rising prices and inflation.
