And if her targets have money, she pours on the heat with her corrupt hold on power. What Attorney General Letitia James didn’t expect was a slap in the face when it comes to the law. She suffered a huge setback in her latest attempt to destroy former President Donald Trump and his family.
An appeals court said her “unlimited” civil lawsuit against the Trumps doesn’t hold water under the law.

A New York Appeals Court narrowed state Attorney General Letitia James’ civil lawsuit against the Trump family on Tuesday, dismissing Ivanka Trump as a defendant and deciding that the statute of limitations would prevent her from suing for alleged fraud.
The court essentially said the lawsuit extends too far back and doesn’t meet legal requirements to move forward based on the time frame James is pursuing. And it doesn’t look like this case will end well for James. Donald Trump’s lawyers aren’t stopping with this win – they want James and her case tossed.

“The Appellate Division decision today represents the first step towards ending a case that should have never been filed,” a Trump spokesperson told Fox News Digital on Tuesday. “The correct application of the law will now limit appropriately the previously unlimited reach of the Attorney General.”
James is as corrupt as it gets among Democrats in power. For years she has sued Trump – in office and as a civilian – over any “potential crime” she could dream up. All her cases are based on political motivations and her personal hatred of Trump and his many accomplishments in life, business, and politics.
Democrats like James are doing more damage to the justice system than any criminal organization. Their mafia-style attacks against all things conservative or Republican have eroded public confidence to the point that rational people don’t believe their claims of crimes.
We can only hope that the appeals court further rules that James’ overreach and outright abuse of her power is unlawful. The sooner she is shut down the better. People need to have faith in law enforcement and legal institutions instead of fearing that they will be next.
