This week, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Biden removing razor wire along the border. The governor of Texas has defied the court, continuing to install the wire—which is keeping out millions of illegal aliens.
The battle over the border is reaching a breaking point. Texas will not allow more migrants to invade the country. And Biden does not seem willing to enforce U.S. border laws.
Now, Donald Trump is wading into the battle. He has long demanded a secure Southern border, along with the wall. And he is calling on governors like Abbott to use the National Guard to end this crisis once and for all.
From Breitbart:
Former President Donald Trump called on governors to use their National Guard soldiers to remove migrants back across the border…“We encourage all willing States to deploy their guards to Texas to prevent the entry of Illegals, and to remove them back across the Border,” President Trump wrote. “All Americans should support the commonsense measures by Texas authorities to protect the Safety, Security, and Sovereignty of Texas, and of the American people.”
Unsurprisingly, Donald Trump has sided with Texas in the battle over the border crisis. He has called on other states to support Texas in protecting the “Safety, Security and Sovereignty” of the Lone Star State and America.
To that end, Trump has urged governors to send their National Guard troops to Texas to help prevent illegal entry into the country and to “remove” migrants “back across the border.”
Gov. Abbott has recently signed into law a bill that makes illegal immigration a state crime. He has authorized Texas law enforcement at all levels to secure the border, arresting illegal aliens. State courts have the authority, based on this new law, to order migrants deported.
This is the first time a state has tried to deport illegal aliens themselves for years. An older Supreme Court ruling banned states from deporting illegals, allowing only the federal government to do so. But Texas is defying this ruling by taking the extraordinary step to remove migrants itself.
Trump appears to be backing this new law, by urging other states to send troops to aid in this effort. It’s currently unclear if any states will listen to his urging. But 25 governors just signed a letter supporting Texas. And, in the past, states like Florida have sent National Guardsmen to help.
Key Takeaways:
- Donald Trump urged governors to send National Guardsmen to defend the Texas border.
- He called on states to help secure the border and deport illegal aliens.
- This comes as Texas fights the Biden administration over the ongoing border crisis.
