Most Americans agree that America’s fate is tied to the upcoming election. Not only will the White House be decided, but the make-up of the Senate and the House of Representatives.
But, on top of that, many state governments and local cities will be impacted by the election.
Whether or not Republicans get involved in the process could be a deciding factor in many states. Donald Trump is not leaving anything to chance. And he is urging every last Republican to not waste any time in making sure their votes are counted.
From The Post Millennial:
On Friday, former President Donald Trump urged everyone eligible to vote to register and have a plan to cast their ballot. In a post on Truth Social, the former president said, “Absentee voting, early voting, and election day voting are all good options.” He added, “Republicans must make a plan, register, and vote.”
Last month, new RNC co-chair Lara Trump revealed the organization’s plan to work with conservative activist Scott Presler to increase voter turn out and execute a legal ballot-chasing initiative. Ballot-chasing, plans for voting, and organizing mail-in ballotting initiatives was something Democrats excelled at in 2020.

Trump issued a call to all Republicans to ensure they are registered to vote. He called on them to “make a plan.” He even told them to take advantage of options like absentee voting, early voting, and election-day voting.
Historically, Republicans wait until election day to vote, even though most states have some form of early voting or verified mail-in voting. This tendency has gotten the party in trouble in past races—as lines in Republican counties get so long on election day that voters give up.
Broke voting machines and malfunctioning printers on election day further complicated matters. Had many of those voters gone to the polls earlier, they would have avoided those “irregularities.”
Lara Trump, co-chair of the RNC, is mobilizing aggressive efforts to ensure fair and accurate voting. She is pushing the GOP to use methods they have previously neglected, such as ballot harvesting and mail-in voting, where legal.
This could give Republicans a competitive edge over Democrats, who have exploited these methods for years to turn out the vote. With growing discontent with Biden’s failed presidency, many will be eager to vote against him. But Republicans can’t take it for granted that people will vote. So, they need to do everything legally available to help them win.
Key Takeaways:
- Donald Trump called on Republicans to “make a plan” for the upcoming election.
- He urged them to register, and use options such as absentee voting and early voting.
- Republicans, in the past, have neglected early voting and other options.
