During his Fox News Town Hall on Wednesday night, former President Donald Trump offered a chilling warning about what will happen to the American economy if Kamala Harris wins this presidential election.

Under the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris administration, the economy has gone to shambles. While Biden and Harris have focused much of their attention on woke causes, inflation has gotten out of control.

This has left millions of Americans struggling just to put food on the table. Now, Trump is warning that things will only get worse if Harris makes it to the White House.

“This country will end up in a depression if she becomes president. Like 1929, this will be a 1929 depression. She has no idea what the hell she’s doing,” Trump said from the New Holland Arena in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

“I gave you the biggest tax cuts in the history of our country. If you let them. If you let the Trump tax cuts expire, which she wants to do, she wants to terminate them. If you do that, you will suffer the biggest tax increase in history. There’s never been a tax increase like it, on top of which she wants to add a lot of tax,” Trump argued of Harris’ economic agenda.

Harris’ Tax Proposal

This came hours after Harris proposed a 28% tax on long-term capital gains on households that make $1 million a year.

When asked what this would mean, Trump replied, “This is where you have something, you don’t even know what the value is. I tell you what, if that’s going to happen, go out and open an appraisal company because you’re going to make a fortune. That’s about the only group that’s going to make it. And accountants, it is the craziest idea.”

Trump went on to say that “ultra-left Marxists” have been tossing this idea around for years. He pointed out that Harris’ father is a “Marxist teacher of economics.”

Harris is the daughter of the retired Stanford University economics Professor Donald J. Harris, who has a background that is full of Marxist theory. Earlier this year, he was even described by described by The Economist as a “combative Marxist extremist.”

Disturbed by Harris’ ties to Marxist theory, Trump also warned that she has many other ideas “that are just as bad.” That’s why the former president is convinced that four years of her being in office would lead to another depression.

Harris Could Do Untold Damage To The Economy

As usual, Trump is spot-on with these comments. Since her first failed run for president in 2019-2020, Harris has surrounded herself with radical liberals. Harris and these radical leftists seemingly do not believe in capitalism. Instead, they believe in economic statism that borders on socialism.

Harris also does not believe the free market should set prices based on supply and demand. Rather, she wants the government to set prices for groceries, pharmaceuticals, and housing.

These are just a few examples of Harris’ economic incompetence. Quite frankly, there is no telling what further damage this woman will do to the economy if she gets anywhere near the White House.

The economy has suffered greatly under Biden during his presidency. The last thing that America needs right now is a radical liberal like Harris in the White House, making it even worse. If Harris does win this election, we fear that Trump may be right, and America could be doomed for another depression.
