Before his sweeping wins in Super Tuesday primary elections, former President Donald Trump offered a prediction that could radically change the 2024 presidential election. He held nothing back for what he thought might happen.
Trump’s likely opponent, the mentally and physically feeble Joe Biden, has had a tough time keeping it together throughout his presidency. Biden’s gaffes during speeches and anger toward reporters along with multiple trips and falls have proven that he is in trouble.
Trump believes his Democrat opponent, who is 81, could stall out along the campaign trail. Biden’s many frailties bring up the possibility that he won’t make it to November as a candidate.
From the Washington Examiner:
“My attitude is that whatever it is, it is, but do I think he’s going to make it? Probably not,” Trump said to WMAL host Vince Coglianese on Monday. “Most people disagree with this vehemently. I personally don’t think he’s going to make it.”“Certainly physically impaired,” Trump added. “He can’t even walk up a flight of stairs. He can never find his way. He can never find the stairs.”
The former president shared how he believes Biden is “in bad shape” and “cognitively impaired.” He clarified that he doesn’t blame Biden’s age for any health problems.
“It’s not the age,” Trump said. “There’s something going on in my opinion.”
Trump is baffled at how Biden can poll as well as he has considering the failures of his presidency and how obvious it is to the public that something isn’t quite right with him.
“He’s so bad,” Trump said. “He’s the worst president we have ever had, but he polls better than other people, including Michelle Obama. He polls better than other people. Explain that one. It is pretty weird.”
Trump showed concern over Biden having immense power as president despite his weaknesses physically and mentally.
“He can’t put two sentences together, and he’s responsible for negotiating with Putin on nuclear weapons,” Trump said. “The whole thing is crazy.”
The interview with Trump happened just before the Super Tuesday primary elections where Trump swept up hundreds of delegates across 16 states on his way toward becoming the GOP nominee. He was expected to win the majority of the 854 Republican delegates up for grabs which would add to the 244 he held heading into Tuesday.
Trump shared that he believes momentum is on his side and he could gain wins in unexpected key states this fall. A win in one traditionally Blue state could deliver a path to electoral victory in November.
“I know the polls are very close to being even, and we are going to make a very heavy play for Virginia,” he said. “It’s an incredible state, and I think it’s ready to go Republican.”
Key Takeaways:
- Trump made a bold prediction that Biden isn’t “going to make it” to November.
- The GOP front runner dominated Super Tuesday primary elections to gain delegates.
- Trump said it is “pretty weird” that Biden polls well despite his frailties and failures.
