Trump Just Revealed Vivek’s Fate – Former Rival Could Land 1 Top Role with Donald

For a long time now, people have been speculating on Trump’s next running mate. Ever since he started winning primary states, people have been asking him. Now that he’s buttoned up the GOP nomination, people are eagerly expecting an announcement any day now.

Many have discussed the possible candidates. Some have floated names like Ron DeSantis, Kristi Noem, and Tulsi Gabbard. Not surprisingly, Nikki Haley has not been on Trump’s list.

Trump has promised an announcement about his running mate soon. One name that has come up frequently is Vivek Ramaswamy, a former Republican presidential candidate. Now, Trump has revealed Vivek isn’t in the running to be his VP. But, he did say something very interesting.

From The Post Millennial:
On Monday, it was reported that Vivek Ramaswamy is no longer under consideration to be Donald Trump’s pick for vice president.

The former commander-in-chief told his former competitor that he would instead try to set him up with a cabinet position.

According to Bloomberg, sources familiar with the matter revealed that Trump contacted Ramaswamy personally to deliver the news. Among the positions being considered is Department of Homeland Security secretary.

A new report revealed that Trump is not considering Vivek Ramaswamy as his vice president. However, he told Vivek that he was eyeing him for a possible role in his cabinet. One of the jobs he might get is leading the Department of Homeland Security.

This will come as good news to many voters. Vivek was an outsider candidate that became a major player in the GOP primaries. He is a businessman who was known in Silicon Valley as the “anti-woke CEO.” He could be a valuable asset in a second Trump administration.

The current director of the DHS has been accused of being a leftist progressive with an agenda. He has neglected immigration and allowed over 7 million migrants into the country.

Vivek has strongly called for the border to be closed. Should he be made head of the DHS, the border could be fixed within a day. Democrats will no doubt flip their lids to learn Ramaswamy might become a top official within the White House.

Key Takeaways:

  • Donald Trump is not considering Vivek Ramaswamy as a VP.
  • He spoke with the Republican and told him he was considering him for a seat on his cabinet.
  • Ramaswamy might be selected to lead the Department of Homeland Security.
